When we arrive at our aunt's house, she has prepared for us some delicious snacks, which were very inviting. The delicious aroma fills the air as we went inside her house. Uncle Bob was sitting in the sitting room when we arrived and the boys rush to give him a high five while I hug my aunt, she is one of a kind who always encourages me to stay strong because she knows how much pain I was going through and how the pack members treated me. She thought me not to pay back evil with evil and she has helped me with a lot of things since the passing of my adopted father. She made sure that the boys and I were united and played her part in being a good aunt very well. She made sure we come visiting even if Eva was opposed to it and has stood her ground to ensure she allow us to visit her. " Good afternoon Aunt," I greeted her. " Good afternoon, and how has the week been for you? How is school, and hope the boys are taking good care of you," She asked and I wonder which of the questions she wants me to answer. While still wondering what to say, she starts to examine my body, and I am sure she was going to start complaining again. " I am fine, the boys are taking care of me, and they..." I did not get to complete my answers to her questions before she cuts me off, " You can't be fine with what I am seeing now, it's like you have not been eating or that you have been sick, tell me do you have pain anywhere in your body, have you been eating well? Are you finding it hard to sleep? You look stressed, I would love you to come to the clinic tomorrow so I can examine you to see what was wrong with you, my brother would not be happy to see you this way," She complains, and I know there is no escape out of this, I just have to comply because she will never give up until she gets her result. " Okay, aunt, I will be there tomorrow but you don't have to worry, I'm fine and you don't need to fuse over it," I said trying to reassure her that I am okay because I didn't want to cause an argument between her and Eva. How do I explain to her that I was not eating nutritious food and that I always sleep late to make sure everything in the house was clean, I am also the first to wake up very early to make breakfast for everyone in the house. I only get to eat a slice of bread and water since the death of my father, the boys on several occasions would want to tell her all that I face at the hands of Eva but I always beg them from doing so because I know it will only create more problems. She did all she can to stop me from going to the pack house to work but has not succeeded in her pursuit of it. Her husband too tried to put a stop to it, stating that I was too young for the task that was assigned to me but the alpha said he was doing it to see if I was a bad person like everyone tends to paint me. " Boys, go to the kitchen and wash your hand and let's dig into these snacks, and you too, Hazel," She announced to us. The boys dashed into the kitchen to clean their hands, and I tag along to wash my hands too. When we came back to the sitting room she has arrange the snacks on the trays with juice, and we settle down to eat. " So boys, how has the week been going, what did you two do this week," Aunt Zoe asked this has been the ritual since the death of her brother, she always made sure to look after the welfare of the children he left behind and has not failed in her duty. " So, so," Arthur responded, not wanting to go into so much detail but Aunt Zoe was not having any of it " So, so what? What? And what did the two of you do this week, that is what I need to know," She insisted on getting the full details of what they did. " We didn't do much, aside from going to school, coming back from school, and helping Hazel do her chores in the pack house," Arthur explained to her. But Leo had to open his big mouth to speak and spilled out the incident concerning the alpha son and I " Something strange always happens whenever we go to the pack house to clean, and I have been trying to find out from Hazel why this happens whenever we go with her to the pack house, but she refuses to explain to us, maybe she would be willing to explain to you?" Leo says to her and I know that I need to come up with a lie to prevent the truth from coming out. " I have told you that nothing is happening but you like to make make a molehill out of nothing," I said trying to put a stop to what he was trying to expose, I don't know what the outcome of this will be, and I don't want my aunt to get entangled in this matter. " Leo why not let it be, since she has explained that nothing was going on, then so be it," Aunt Zoe says, and I gave a sigh of relief that she didn't ply further. I don't think I would have been able to come up with a reasonable lie to cover up what the alpha's son was doing to me. All through the meals, Uncle Bob did not say anything but just observed the situation. From the way he was looking at me, I knew he was not convinced that I am telling the truth. After the meals, I help to clear the table and clean the wares we used in eating the snack, this is where I get to eat something nourishing and I always look forward to it. We stayed a bit with both our uncle and aunt before we decided it was time to go home because it was getting late and I have not prepared anything for Eva to eat. Before we left my aunt reminded me that I shouldn't fail to come to the clinic the next day before going to the pack house. I was happy that she did not push further about the issue concerning the alpha's son.
