My mind is racing as I sit in the car with Easton. We haven’t said anything since we left the police station.
“The shapeshifter in the park, was it a rabbit?” Easton asked me out of nowhere.
“I don’t know what they were. I could just sense them. Why are you asking about a rabbit?” I asked him.
“Earlier Louie saw on the monitors a rabbit acting weird. Like it was patrolling or something.” He asked.
I bit my bottom lip, there is someone I know that prefers to shift into the smaller animals.
“What’s wrong?” Easton asked me.
I shook my head, “Nothing.” I told him.
“You're biting your lip. I noticed you do that when you have things going through your head.” He said.
