DIANNE'S POV

I felt a rush of win blow at my face and I could barely see him. He was super fast. In a blink of an eye he had managed to take out Amanda and her friends. I watched and saw them lying flat on the ground before my very eyes. I watched Derek who was now visible before me.

He saw I was scared but said nothing. He grabbed Amanda by the neck and bit her.

I opened my eyes looking scared. This was actually real. Vampires do exist. My mind went wild,do witches and wizards exist in our world too? Werewolves?" I looked at the man I was in love with sucking, feasting on Amanda

He raised his head slightly and I could see the pupils dilated and turned red. " Really? You could drink her blood just to save her?" Irene said,her tone icy and laced with anger.

I was beginning to get it, both were lovers and they shared a history together. " since you have her blood, then I believe you are strong enough to fight me."

Derek dropped Amanda and rushed at Irene. Everything became blur and I barely saw anything except each time Derek was trusted at the wall. I watched as the walls cracked each time. How is this even possible? Vampires right in the middle of the school.

Derek saw Irene was stronger and faster, He dashed towards me and released me in a flash. He carried me and as he ran, I felt the bush of wind brush behind my ears and the loud noise of Irene's words. " Run! I am going to find you and when I finally do, I am going to end your pathetic life." She threatened

Derek wasn't bothered,judging from the look on his face. He was more concerned about getting me out of the school. It felt good,being in his hands. The handsome, Derek Knight right in my hands.

" Were are we going?" I said slowly as he slowly down. " We are..almost there." he said as he lowered me to the ground. I looked at his stomach and I noticed he was bleeding. " Slow down, Derek. You are hurt."

But he kept looking over his shoulders to make sure we were not followed. Derek crashed into the door as he opened it and fell to his feet.

" Derek!." i shouted as he passed out.

I was lost. I had never had a vampire boyfriend before. I stared at his face and I noticed he was even beautiful up close. I looked at his wound and I noticed they weren't healing

" What do I do?" I said slowly forgetting.

I remembered some of the books I read about vampire. "Blood."

The word rang like a bell in my ears. I looked for a glass and slahed my wrist. I watched as my blood slowly flowed from my wrist dropping into his mouth

At first, I watched as he didn't react but suddenly his fangs elongated and he began to feed.

Derek grabbed my wrist as I fight back, I could feel him drinking at am high speed. " Derek! You are hurting me." I said but it was like he couldn't control himself. Whe he eventually did, I felt my vision blurry, I tried to stand up but I felt my legs weakened. I collapsed into his arms as I passed out

[ AN HOUR LATER ]

I looked around and I was in a well furnished apartment. " Don't do that next time." I heard a voice near he end of my bed and I sat upright. " Are you alright?" I asked feeling my life force drained. I looked up and I saw a bag of blood tapped to a pole and a tube slowly carrying the blood into my veins.

" Why did you do that?" Derek asked. " You know I might have killed you."

I didn't know what to say. " How old are you?" the word left my lips. " Hundred years old." Derek replied truthfully. " Do you have something else you want to ask me?"

" How come? You are a day lighter. How is that even possible?" I asked again. " Irene, is my sired vampire. She is a day lighter and that makes me one." Derek replied again

I felt drowsy and laid back to sleep.

[ FEW HOURS LATER ]

I woke up in my bed back at my house. I looked around and everything felt normal. I tried to stand up and I felt good.

How did I get here?

It doesn't matter. I was feeling good and surprisingly better. I got up and looked at the time. I was late for school. I rushed into the bathroom to have my bath and I was out in no time.

As I walked I had a faint vision of Derek as he tried to defend me against Irene. " What?" I stood still looking scared.

The vision was blurry but vivid. I saw how Derek moved with speed. I laughed a hard I held my stomach. My love for him was making me hallucinate about him. " Weird." i said with a smile on my face.

I got into school and tried to find him but I could not. I held his black jacket, I was supposed to return this.

I quickly forget about him and went about my daily school routine, I had a couple of classes to attend but I spent most of my day trying to avoid Amanda and her crew but I guess I couldn't avoid them for long.

I bumped Into Amanda on my way to the toilet as she stopped me. " Guess what? Your so called boyfriend is gone. Heard he transferred to another school." She taunted

" I wonder who is going to save you now?" Vicky smiled. I looked at Amanda and I saw her with a scarf around her neck. I remembered Derek biting into her neck in my vision. " Did all of this happened?" I was lost when Amanda landed a blow to my stomach. He was suppose to be mine but you managed to get him."

The blow landed on my head sending me to the ground but that instance, everything came back to me. " Vampires?" I opened my eyes in awe.
