Chapter One: The Sale
Winter sat in her chair next to her pimp as they waited for tonight's John. He patted her on the head and played with her hair. "You remember? What ever he wants, but if he gets to violent, I'll jump in. Can't have him damaging my most lovely girl." "Yes sir." She leaned into his touch and purred as her tail swished behind her. "Good girl. I'm glad we never had to break you. You don't have that glazed over look the others have." "I know my place." She cooed. She knew this happy acceptance made her handlers happy. He nodded in approval and stood as the unknown man walked up. She averted her eyes like she had been taught to do. She had been raised since birth to be the perfect girl. She learned by watching her mother, that the only way to avoid getting beaten or "Tamed", was to behave and do what you're told. Her mother always fought and even tried to hide her. In the end it had gotten her killed. "This is the girl? She looks young." Her pimp assured the man. "She's forty five years old. She's never been struck, and given her upbringing, she's not stressed and hasn't used drugs. She's in perfect health. Her body has been treated like a temple. Show him baby." This was her cue. She stood and shrugged off her coat. "Sweet holy mother. That's all natural?" "Not an ounce of silicon on her." He liked her. "Now. No hitting her. I will be checking her later." The John merely grunted his answer and away she went with him. The first thirty minutes things were fine but soon he got more physical. Winter had merely grunted and he had slapped her. After that it was over. He began beating Winter and calling her names. "Rio!" She cried out for her pimp and the door flew open. "Are you out of your god damn mind!? I said no hitting!" He threw the male into the bathroom and locked the door. "You ok baby?" "Mhm. It hurts." He held her and rubbed her back. "I know. We'll get you fixed up and find you a gentle John." She nodded. "Let me make some calls." He stepped out into the hall and her ears perked up. "Yea it's bad.....You'r not serious are you?.....boss she has no behavior problems. She was beaten to a pulp......Yea she called out as soon as he got rough..... The auction? Alright I'll get her ready. Yea ok. Bye." Winter was icing her face when he came back in and sat beside her. "Let me see. Well it'll bruise but it doesn't look like any thing majorly serious. You'r already healing." He held out his hand for her. She slid her hand into his then he kicked open the bathroom door. "You got five minutes to leave." He scurried out of the room without a second look. "I know you could hear my conversation." He said sadly. "The auction is tonight and you'r to be sold off. So you need to be a good girl ok?" "Yes sir." Winter chewed her bottom lip as they made their way to the house. She went up stairs to her room and got ready as the other girls scattered and hid from Rio. Winter was the only one who was never hit and didn't fear the men. But then again, she had been trained since she was a child to be good. She dressed in a revealing red dress that fit her like a second skin and simple stilettos. "Time to go baby. We're gonna be late." She hurried down the stairs and fell in line. He put her in the car and off they went. She stared out of the window as they headed towards the the mansion where the auction would be taking place. She was scared. She'd been with Rio since she was two. He was all she knew. He looked at her with a sad smile. "I'll try to make it to where only men with real money can buy you." She smiled bravely. "I'll do my best." "I'll miss you baby." "I'll miss you too." She leaned back in her seat and prayed she got a nice man. When they pulled up, he helped her inside and led her to the podium that she would stand on. After an hour the auction started. "Ladies and gentlemen the first item up is a rare beauty named Winter. She is an elf and panther shifter hybrid with impeccable manners. She is one hundred pounds and yes all her parts are natural. Starting bid is one hundred thousand dollars." Immediately the room lit up with bids. That's when she saw him. He was tall and handsome with eyes that looked right through her. "Two million cash!" A hush fell over the room as he stepped forward and offered a wad of cash. "Sold to Leo Jakoby." He handed the man the cash and lifted Winter into his arms. "You're coming with me little pet." She looped her arms around his neck and looked at Rio as she left. He was like a father to her. He'd never touched her and always treated her right. She would miss him the most.
