Kairus Ace's POV:
"Kairus..." I closed my eyes when I heard a woman seated on top of me growl. She was enjoying herself on top of me. But no matter what else she does to pleasure me, I remain unsatisfied. I was disgusted as I recalled what my grandfather and I had discussed.
"I'm already old Kairus," Grandpa stated as he sipped his tea. We were in the middle of our meal when he abruptly spoke up. "In the next election, your father will run for Mayor and you will run for Congressman."
I was taken aback when he suddenly began talking about politics. "I told you I'm not into politics, and I'm not going to go into such things."
"What do you want to do with your life?" he eventually got me to stop sucking. "You're a business administration graduate, but you can't even operate our company. You're just wasting your time with your useless vices, Kairus."
"Lo, I have plans, okay? Look, I was just having fun with my —-"
"How long will you be like that? You've been like that for two years, you know ? What have you brought to this family? You always bring trouble for us !"
When I heard that, I clenched my hand in rage, but I kept my cool. I'm not sure why he's forcing me into politics. That is not something I am interested in.
The truth is that I don't want to get into politics because running will instill animosity in you. You have a lot of immunity that you are unaware of. They start heating you up without your knowledge. Politics is a hazardous and turbulent world.
"Get the hell out of here," I yelled angrily at the woman who had been pleasuring me on top of me, which caused her to stop what she was doing.
"What exactly is your problem, huh ?"
"Just get your face off of my sight!" I shoved her away from me and jumped out of bed to get my clothing.
I'll never forget my grandfather's insistence that I go into politics. I'm very irritated. I don't feel like I have the ability to make my own decisions. My granddad has been in charge of my life since my mother died. I was at a loss as to where to put myself.
"So what, you're leaving me here again?" I heard her say, but I didn't look at her. I actually had no intention of having s*x with her right now. I was just really pissed off and I just needed an outburst of resentment.
But I don't know, I have a feeling that there is something wrong with what she is doing. When I watch her massaging her breast on top of me, I see Ria in her. Isn't that amusing? I think I'm going insane.
She virtually never left my mind after the day we met at the coffee shop. I can see her even in my dreams. I'm not sure what's wrong with her, except that she's different from the other ladies I've met, there's something about her that I can't get enough of. She's absolutely captivating.
"You're such an incredible bastard, Kairus. After you use me, you'll just gonna leave me like this ? You, asshole. " She continued to complain but I never had the guts to glance at her. I'm not in the mood right now. Let her think whatever she wants to think.
She spoke a lot more and continued murmuring, but I ignored her. I hurried out of the hotel room despite the fact that the t-shirt I was wearing had not been completely fixed.
I headed straight to the billiards club. Everytime I'm not in my mood, I usually unleash my rage there. It's not far from the hotel, so I went straight there. There are a lot of people there at this time of night, and most of them are still students from different Universities.
"Oh guys, look who's here," I was greeted by my friends who were also at the club as I entered the entrance door. Drake even handed me a glass of wine. "It's the one and only Ace Silvenia, how are you?"
I took the glass he offered me and drank the wine. The rest of us even said farewell because I hadn't been there in a few weeks due to daddy and grandpa's rally.
"You're unbelievable Ace, that woman of yours contacted me, crying, and she's looking for you," I almost spit out my wine when I heard that. Almost all of them were laughing as they looked at me.
I merely shook my head and looked away. I looked around, not expecting to see the person I saw now. I stared at her, feeling slow motion all around me, and my concentration was solely on her.
She was dressed in a black fitting sleeveless shirt, black pants, and boots. Her polo with the checkered pattern is still draped around her waist. She had a hot look on her face as she glanced at the billiards ball. I admire how she manages the cue and keeps her cool.
I quickly moved away from where I was and proceeded in her direction. I even caught a little giggle from her when she was playing.
I leaned on the billiard table with my arms crossed, staring at her. I observed her every move till she finally noticed me.
"What?" she asked, raising an eyebrow.
"Do you not remember me?"
I laughed at the way her brow furrowed. She's so cute doing it. "No," she says, her voice so cold that you can hear no emotions in it.
"I'm the one you ran into at the coffee shop the other day," I explained, causing her to stare at me again, the wrinkle on her brow was still visible. "You dropped your wallet. Ria, right ?"
She glanced at me, stunned. I'm not sure why she was astonished, but her countenance altered immediately.
I observed her raise her hand to me as if she needed her wallet right away. "Give it back to me."
I gave her a silly smile before turning to face her. Even when I pushed my face closer to hers, there was no difference and change in her expression. She doesn't even feel awkward at our distance.
"I'll return it on one condition..." I observed her eyebrows lift, as if she was anticipating what I would say next. "Go on a date with me."
She smirked and bit her lower lip. She's absolutely stunning. "Beat me."
I was taken aback when she suddenly dropped the cue on my chest and then turned her back on me. She is an odd woman. I kept my attention on her until she reached the opposite side of the table. She put her hair in a messy bun, and the thin strands of her hair hanging on the side of her ear made her even hotter to look at.
"If you win, I'll go on a date with you," she remarked after fixing her hair. "However, if I win, you must return my wallet and..."
She paused, as though contemplating the situation after she won. "Name your price," I said, and set the terms for her.
She had a lovely smile on her lips. It's tempting me. "Game."
I'm in a position to hit the ball. The truth is that I'm not particularly skilled at playing, but this time I have to win. The ball entered in my first and second innings, but I missed in the third. Bullshit.
I was disappointed and irritated in my head when I saw Ria grin in front of me. I'm ashamed. But instead of focusing on my irritation, I focused my attention on her.
I watched her every move. She grips the butt end of the cue with one of her hands and places the part of the cue near the tip on her other hand to use it as a bridge. She raises the back of her hand toward the wrist, pressing her fingers down firmly.
She then started lining up her shot. I noticed her placing one foot back and one foot forward, distributing her weight on the front foot while leaning forward to position her line of sight down the length of the cue.
With those simple moves of hers, I can say that she is really good at playing. I didn't notice that I was staring at her face, I was just surprised when she greeted me with a stare.
"Your stare might melt me, mister." she smirked once, hitting the ball while still looking at me.
When I spotted her looking down at the table, I peered down as well, and what I saw surprised me. She only has one ball left to throw into her pockets.
In disbelief, I looked at her and noticed a charming smile on her lips. She stood up again to settle the last ball, which entered as expected. I even heard cheers and whispers from individuals I hadn't realized were watching us.
"Booom," she said as she approached me, "you lose, now give me my wallet back."
I pulled her wallet from my pocket and offered it to her, but when she reached for it, I lifted my hand to prevent her from taking it right away. "Go on a date with me," I stated directly, forcing her brow to furrow once again.
"We had a deal, Mr. 'I don't know you.'"
"I'm sorry lady, I don't know how to keep my promise. Just come out with me, one night."
She narrowed her eyes at me and moved her face closer to mine. I resist her stares because I feel like she's hypnotizing me. She was able to reach the purse in my hand at the speed of her movement.
"Tu, perdedor," she whispered quietly, making my brow furrow. She's using another language to curse me again.
//tu, perdedor: you loser//
"Come on, Ria. Only one night. Even if it's just a dinner date," I said as I followed her walking away.
"I'm busy, I don't have time for dates, you know."
"How much time do you have?" I said, causing her to stop walking and then turned to face me, "I'll pay for it."
"Do I appear to be in need of money?" I was shocked to hear those coming from her. "Look, man, keep your damn money. I don't even know who you are, so don't bother me again. You said that if I win, I'll name my price, and that's exactly what I want you to do: get out of my way!"
I was utterly silent when she stated that. I was even more humiliated because I could hear people laughing around me. People will conclude that Kairus Silvenia, the lone Kairus, was rejected by a woman.
"Kairus Silvenia!" I was about to speak when I was interrupted. When I turned to see who was speaking, I recognized one of my college friends.
He approached me. He said a lot, but I didn't listen to him because my attention was on Ria, who had left the club. I was quite ashamed because a woman had just embarrassed me. Damn it.
I can't believe it, she's the only woman who's ever done something like this to me. She didn't actually know me yet. Because if she knew who I was, if she knew that I was a Silvenia, she would never behave like that in front of me. She'll be sorry, she will be sorry for raising her voice at me. If I am not just interested in her, I'll make her regret on what she did to me.
I didn't remain inside long and said goodbye to my buddies. I was irritated about leaving the club, but that annoyance vanished as soon as I stepped outside.
I turned to face the woman sitting on the hood of my car. When I approached her, she gave me a direct stare. She was actually waiting for me.
What exactly is she doing here?
