Christopher’s Christmas Wish

Eight years ago. Christmas Eve morning December 24, 2013 Christmas’s POV I am still in awe of the gorgeous 2 carat diamond my fiancé Christopher Crandall gave me this morning. We were sleigh riding in the snowy hillside near the Crandall mansion. The feeling of joy and peace along with the adventurer’s passion for fun are what brought Christopher and I together as a boyfriend and girlfriend since I was 12 and Christopher was 15. Christopher and my brother Jack Cringle were best friends. However, as my older brother and fierce protector, Jack was always my chaperone when we were growing up. It was always Christopher, Jack, and I taking on the world together. No matter where our many exciting adventures took us, we were all for one and one for all. As I gaze upon my diamond engagement ring, I reflect upon my childhood and adolescent experience with both fondness and yet wistfulness knowing that I am an adult now with new important responsibilities and opportunities upon the horizon. Not only as the fiancée and eventual wife to Christopher Crandall toy magnet and President of Crandall International, but I am the current owner and publisher of Cringle Publications. I still have the December 31 at deadline for the year in review Cringle Publications calendar shoot to look forward to this afternoon. In about an hour or so, my brother Jack will be joining us at the photo shoot. I am very eager and excited for my brother to find out about my engagement news. Christopher and I both still need to tell Jack that he is going to be the best man. I am choosing Christopher’s Sister Ivy as the maid of honor. We are hoping the wedding can be in June but need to consult both of our busy schedules. “Kiss me again, Christopher darling!” I said breathily as we hold each other tightly. “Hmmmmmm!!” exclaimed Christopher distractedly as he twirls his strong hands around my flowing blonde curls. I start belly laughing because clearly my Christopher is daydreaming right now and not paying attention to what I am trying to communicate to him.
