Chapter 6: Patrick's birthday

The board members greeted me as I enter the conference room.

"Good evening Mr. Reighman," they said it in a chorus.

It really feels so good when you're getting everyone's respect and attention. This is what you'll have when you're on top --when you have the power.

Sabrina has no interest in our business so as an alternative, ako ang ipinadala rito para sa meeting. Akalain mo iyon ipinagkatiwala ng parents ko itong napakahalagang meeting na ito. Busy kasi isa kong kapatid, may business trip. Si Mom naman eh ayaw ma stress sa business matters kaya ako na lang habang abala rin ang father ko sa isa pang mahalagang meeting.

Actually, wala akong alam sa mga ganito. Meeting lang naman eto, eh. Tingin ko pwede namang hindi ako magseryoso rito at saka hindi naman ako talagang empleyado rito kaya dapat hindi na ako mag effort masyado. Malay ko ba sa ganito.

Hmm..Masimulan na nga ang meeting at may lakad pa ako.

"Let's start, I still have a party to attend after this," I said without looking at them.

Now, I think I'm cool. Pero nang binalingan ko ang mukha ng nasa meeting halatang wala silang tiwala sa akin. Sino ba naman kasi ang magtitiwala sa Isang teenager. Pero wala naman Silang magagawa eh, kami may-ari nitong kompanya. At saka, substitute lang naman ako. May secretary naman eh siya na bahala mag report sa meeting namin ngayon.

The meeting went on and it was a hell of a boring conversation.

I have my interest in engineering, but running a company is not my style, really.

Minsan nasabi na rin ni mommy sa akin na wala akong patutunguhan dahil maliban sa pambabae ko umano, nagbibisyo raw ako kasama ang mga friends ko. Makatawag siya ng bisyo sa ginagawa namin aakalain mong nag-d-drugs kami but no, we don't use drugs, never, we only drink liquors, and dahil madalas naman talagang mangyari iyon, siguro tama si mommy, bisyo nga namin ang pag-iinum. But drowning yourself from liquors is much way better than using drugs, right?

When the meeting -boring meeting- was adjourned, lumapit ang secretary ni Daddy, at sinabing may schedule meeting ako sa isang lalakeng nagngangalang, Mr. Evans. I told her to cancel the meeting dahil may lakad ako but she insisted that I should meet the client or else we'll lose some money.

"Re-schedule the meeting, July."

"But Mr. Reighman-"

Naputol siya nang nilagay ko sa labi niya ang pointing finger ko na para bang pinapatahimik siya. Pero hinawi Niya ito.

"How about the meeting two days later?"

"Can you just ask my Dad about that?"

"But I have an order to let you decide. That's what your Dad told me. He trusted you so just act like a leader." At talagang sesermonan pa ako.

"Okay, I will be the one to decide , right? Just cancel whatever meeting is that. If you won't then attend that coffee meeting and golf meeting if you'd like!"

"B-but"

"Shhh...Just do what I have told you, July, adios!" I said before I immediately left the conference room to go to Patrick's party.

Sigurado naman ako na inuman ng kape at paglalaro ng golf lang ang mangyayari sa meeting na iyon, tapos simpleng dinner dinner lang yong ngayon. Alam ko ganyan lang, naisama ako ni Daddy dati eh, tapos ganon lang naman ang nangyari. It's not a big deal, just a meeting.

It's a quarter to nine when I arrive at Patrick's mansion. Patrick's family is filthy rich to the point that they live in a huge and wonderful mansion.

The loud music inside the mansion enveloped my ears. Mapapaindak ka talaga dahil sa musika.

"Woah! This will gonna be fun!" I said when I realize that this is a pool party.

Napangisi ako't napatango-tango.

This night would be memorable, I think.

I saw a lot of women wearing a stringed bikini but when I try to compare with the one on the picture, all their bodies are nothing compared to her. She's a perfect definition of a total bomb.

Oh, wait, why am I even thinking about that girl?

Umiling ako at huminga, "stop thinking about Ms. Red Stringed Bikini, Christopher. You're here to enjoy at hindi para mag-isip ng mga bagay na maaaring makasakit sa puson mo," sabi ko sa sarili ko mismo.

I went to the bathroom and I remove my V-neck shirt and my jeans when I realized that I forgot something.

"s**t, I forgot my swimming trunks."

Sa inis ko'y ginulo ko na ang buhok ko pero naisip ko. I am even hot when I am dressed how much more if just wearing an underwear? Girls are going to droll in front of me for sure.

I smirked at the idea at ginawa na ang dapat kong gawin.

With all the glory, I dared to walk in just underwear alone.

I combed my hair using my fingers and then my precious smirk showed up when I saw a petite chick talking to someone on the phone.

"Let me have your attention baby," I said before heading to East North, to where she was standing.

When I was near her, I cupped her butt and squeezed it.

"Nice butt dhalin."

Napahiyaw siya sa ginawa ko at bahagyang napatingin sa akin, when I saw her bit her lower lip, I already know that I've got her attention. She didn't even bother to entertain her caller.

Using her malicious eyes, hinagod niya nang tingin ang buo kong katawan. From head to my chest then to my abs, at binaba niya pa ang paningin niya at nang makita ang nais makita ay napataas ang kilay niya at kaagad siyang napangisi.

"Such a wonderful thing" referring to my abs. "they looked so sexy and I wonder if the thing that under your garment could be sexier than them," she said, now reaching for my body but I held her hand to stop her from touching me. I look at her eyes intensely before I open my mouth to say a word " sorry dhalin, but these are for your eyes only" I seductively whisper in her ear. I bit her ear and it gives her goose bumps then after that I left her while her jaw was still hanging.

Anong akala niya? Makakascore na siya sakin? In her dreams!

Manunukso lang ako pero hindi pa ako patutuka.

Nang makita ko sina Patrick na nakaupo sa isang round table ay kaagad na akong lumapit sa kanila. I tapped Patrick's shoulder kaya napabaling siyang bigla saakin.

"Happy birthday, mother fucker!" Isang matulis na tingin ang iginante niya saakin. Kumunot ang noo ko sa ginawa niya he must be thankful kasi naalala ko pa siyang e-greet kahit na wala akong gift sa kanya.

"You're late!"

Nagtawanan naman ang ibang mga kaibigan namin dahil sa reaksyon niya.

Makasinghal siya saakin akala mo mag karelasyon kami. Sapakin ko nalang kaya to! Pasalamat siya mabait ako.

"I'm sorry bra! The board members call for an urgent meeting, you know I'm a busy person" saad ko sabay suklay ng mga daliri ko sa buhok ko.

Tiningnan niya lang ako't tinanguan bago nilahadan ng isang shot ng vodka na kaagad ko namang nilagok.

Habang nakikipagkwentuhan ako at nakikipag-inuman sa kanila ay may nakita akong isang magandang binibini na nakaupo sa gilid ng pool. Wala siyang kasama. Kaya nilapitan ko na.

She's lonely, kawawa naman.

"Hey beautiful, you look like my grandma," I flashed a smile after I said it.

She frowned at me and then she uttered her words, "do I look like an old lady?"

"Of course not, you remind me of her. You know my grandma is so beautiful when she's at your age" I simply said to her.

"Really? So who's more beautiful?" She asked shyly.

I know she's distracted on my appearance, nakabrief naman kasi ako malamang maiilang siya nang kaunting, pero isinantabi niya na lamang ito.

I pretend that I'm thinking of an answer to her question.

I look at her straight to her chinky eyes. "Sorry to tell but my grandma is more beautiful than you" she frowned when he heard my statement. "But you're the most beautiful woman I've known after my grandma" I flashed again my previous smile and gotcha! She blushed after what I've said.

Girls are indeed weak. Just filled their hearts with flattering words then you can already win them, then play with them if you want to.

"Well, if you say so," nahihiya pa niyang sabi.

She smiled shyly at me, "by the way I'm Tina" she said while blushing.

Oh, so cute.

"Christopher is my name so can I have your digits?" I handed her my phone and she immediately types her digits.

She gave my phone back to me.

"Uhm...thanks, but I gotta go now my friends are waiting for me" I pointed my friends who are sitting in a roundtable. She just nodded but before I left her I gave her a peck on her lips. I'm pretty sure she won't forget me.

Baka, hanap-hanapin pa nga ako niyan.

"What the f**k bro! How did you get her number? I asked her number earlier but she refused! And I was slapped so hard 'cause I cupped her butt" Patrick said, shaking his head in disbelief.

Inuna mo kasi ang kamanyakan mo, ulol!

Gusto ko iyang sabihin sa kanya pero hindi ko na lang isinatinig. Baka masaktan lang siya't aabot kami sa hindi pagpapansinan dahil sa kaartehan niya.

"Maybe she doesn't like you," sabi ko na lamang at nagkibit balikat.

The party continues and exactly 11:45 in the evening, Raven calls to Patrick to greet him a happy birthday.

Patrick turned on the loudspeaker so that everyone could hear him.

They are now talking about some random shits na biglang umabot sa mga katangahang nagawa ni Patrick noong bata pa siya.

We all laughed while Patrick is seems so pissed now. But my laughter was cut off when I heard a sweet voice calling Raven's name.

I listened carefully to her voice.

Hindi ko alam pero iba ang pakiramdam ko.

Is that the girl in the red bikini's voice? But what is she doing in Raven's crib? Are they living together? No! It can't be! Pero pwede rin naman.

Tsk. Tsk. Poor girl, she landed on Raven's arms. Manloloko pa naman ang isang 'yon.

May dalawang shots ng vodka sa harapan ko at hindi ko alam kung bakit ko naisipang lagukin ito nang mabilisan bago kumagat sa lemon. Ang tapang ng alak ay gumuhit sa lalamunan ko.

I bit my lower lip and wondered again. Is that really her voice? And, she's really with my mother fucker friend?

Oh, wait, why on Earth I was bothered by her? Di ko naman siya kilala.
