Chapter 65: Blue

502 Words

Chapter 65: Blue June 23 How can someone who considers himself sane feel insane? A state of bleakness swept over me, lacking Dugan and Colby Brae in my life. Hours turned into days without them in my life, and I became blue over my losses, grieving what I had once had and now didn’t. I kept scrolling through texts, one after the next, reading conversations with Dugan, and sometimes with Colby when he snagged his father’s phone and used it. A weakness came over me that I couldn’t comprehend. Dread worked its way into the cracks of my life and became wicked. It felt as if the blueness would never go away, drowning me and taking all of my energy. Frankly, I had f****d up big time with the father and son team and didn’t feel it appropriate to apologize for my actions, particularly to Dugan.
