HERO POV Elliot gave me a strange look. “Wait,” he said, “are you two actually together?'” I hesitated on what to say before I finally shook my head, and then he gave me another curious glance. “We don't have a leader around here,” he explained. “I mean, we're not a big enough group to be called a pack, and I wouldn't want to be in charge of one anyway.
