“We have them?” Mallory continued to hold the pen and ink, staring at Danae. “Yes. Death tulips. Those fragile looking black flowers you picked by the lake.” Mallory’s legs nearly gave way at the rush of relief that washed over her. “We can help them?” Danae smiled. “We’re certainly going to try.” Mallory put the lid on the ink and cleaned the nib pen before she put them away. Danae’s words echoed over in her mind as her lips curved into a smile. They were going to try and save all of them. She returned to the children, healing each for two health, setting bones for those that had broken ones.
