Mallory tried to hand the key to Ryan when he pulled up on the side of the road. “I wish we could move now.” “That’s for you,” Ryan said. “I already have one.” “What about us?” Brodie demanded. Ryan chuckled. “Don’t worry. You won’t miss out. I need to get more cut. I only picked them up about half an hour before school finished.” “I wish we could see it.” Brodie slid open the back door, pausing before he exited. “Does this mean you can return the van and get your car back?” Ryan laughed. “Once we’ve shifted in.
