Ellis was the only one who stuck by his side when his family went through a tragedy. The business was not always booming for them; it did for a while until his family exhausted their resources by throwing lavish parties and making bad investments. While Adrian was going through a rough time, his friend wrote to him every week and even visited to check upon him. That's another reason why their friendship was still the talk of the town.
