The smile slipped off of Mimi's face; her brows pulled together as the omega regarded Anna with an expression she couldn't quite place. Her friend leaned forward, arching a brow. "You like him? As in like him enough to become his mate for real?"
The question hung in the air, weighing far too heavily on her chest. Anna didn't think so far in the future, but she might do so right now, and it's too much. It's too much because Mimi was only trying to look out for her. Now that she pondered over it, the omega wanted to have a real relationship with King Ellis. After all the things he did for her, took care of her and never crossed a line, she considered him to be her Alpha. The omega couldn't imagine someone else in his spot.
