Parker We get into our van and I am grateful when Ryan gets in the driver’s side. I feel confused, betrayed, and uneasy from Tom’s actions. The girls sit in the back with AJ in between them and he is ecstatic to be around them. He talks enthusiastically with them and makes some comment about Kali’s color being normal again. I’m unsure what he’s talking about, but I decide not to worry about it. I just want to get back home and sleep for like a week. Ryan takes my hand in his and he starts our drive.
