Chapter 3. The Warm Greetings

As Alphine enters Mizuki's house the one that Alphine caught attention is that her patents was there at the right time and at the right moment. The first one to stand up is her father, he walk slowly to Alphine then Alphine stood his ground waiting to what is going to happen next, then he put his arms around Alphine shoulder and he said "Who are you to my daughter?" He look at Alphine like he was going to kill him! Then the mother spoke "Honey!!! please don't scare him like that he's just helping Mizuko!!!" Then the father calms down and he said that "Young man!!! I'm sorry but I still don't trust you!!!! But first come to the dining table because we were preparing dinner after all!!"

*** Time Skip ***

 After seating at the dining table, across the table Mizuko is at the left side and her mother is the right side where her father is at the center . Alphine tried to break the silence but the mother interrupted "So Kelby was your name right" and Alphine said yes then the father also spoke "So where you from kid?" Alphine answered " I'm from Kitsuki Village and I just transferred here" Alphine lied so that he can cover his identity. 

As both parents stare at each other Alphine was about to piss and the two of them nod each other like nothing happened, then the mother ask Alphine also some questions and she said " So Kelby how did you meet my daughter anyway?" Alphine almost got choked of what she said because Alphine just transferred here at this place, Alphine answered the question "To your daughter I am still unknown to her because I just transferred here today" The mother was satisfied with Alphine's answer. But before Alphine could talk,  Mizuki's father  got a call, then Mizuki's mother said to me "I'm sorry Kelby my husband is always busy" Alphine asked what was his job and she answered "Well my husband is a Commisional General at the Police Station near at the Hizuki Station" Alphine said "I see that's why this house is very enormous!!"

Then her mother smiled.

As Mizuki she could not face Alphine, she was avoiding Alphine's eyes looking at her, then Mizuki said to her mother "Mom can I first change my clothes it's not very comfortable in this uniform?" The mother look at her eyes and  said yes to her daughter.

 After Mizuki left it was only two of them in the dining table and it was very quite. Alphine tried to break the silence but Mizuki's mother started first and she said to Alphine "Kelby!!! thank you for protecting my daughter she texted  me everything in the morning that there was a student protected Her" As Alphine thinks. 

Alphine said to the mother "It was nothing ma'am I was just helping who are in need of help" and Mizuki's mother then put both of hands in her chest then Alphine saw the experssion of her face with relief. Alphine was then curios because due to the emotional expression of Mizuki's mother. Alphine then asked a question. "Ma'am?? May I ask a question???" 

"Sure kiddo what's the question??"

"What is happening to Mizuko and why are all the boys keep courting her, well she has a good grades, look's like a princess, great body figure, smart, and cheerful. But why do I feel like she is sad??"

"Well Kiddo because our family is one of the great families or so called clans. Our daughter is preparing for arranged marriage with one of the High Status families"

"What!!!! arranged marriage and high status families!!!?? What kind of family is Mizuki having??!!!"

"Kiddo because if we don't follow the way of our past families that means we will get cut off from the other family and income as well. Because Mizuko looking for a way to break of the arranged marriage, she is looking for her happiness."

"Then why didn't you tell this to the higher ups of the family to deny the arranged marriage??"

"That's because there is an agreement to which each heir of the family must get arranged marriage and the one that you save from Mizuki that always harass her is that he is her fiance!!!"

"What!!!!! You mean the Kid that I beat up!!!??"

"Yes!!!! Kiddo"

"But be careful Kiddo because that family is the one is higher than us family. That family controls this family that is why Mizuki is having a hard time in her life"

After the conversation ended Alphine was shocked because Alphine think of all the students in the campus this might be the first time it happened to this family. 

After chatting for a  Mizuki's mother she  told me to stay at the  house to sleep because it was already late, Alphine looked at the time it was already past 10 and Alphine refused but Mizuki's mother expression when down but she recovered quickly . 

After finishing dinner Alphine  said my goodbye to them and  walk home alone going to his operating base, as Alphine walk his phone vibrated and there it was a message sent from Lt. Col. Price.

As Alphine was looking at his phone the message said "Red Alert! Be vigilant to your surroundings and watch out to any people who are wearing hospitalized clothes" As Alphine wondered what was that message Alphine walk home and rested. Alphine closed his eyes for a new day tomorrow.

*** Time Skip ***

As Alphine woke up, he reached up to his phone beside him and check 3 emails was sent to him and Alphine read each one of them. The first mail said that "Official News! People eating other People at the KimKim City Please be careful out there!!!!" Then Alphine read the second mail "Yo it's Voodoo you saw the news right?" Alphine replied "!!!yeah it already started", and Alphine read the last email saying "For Emergencies only! Go to the Janitors office you will see a crate of your equipment, the password of the create will be XXXX"  Alphine's mind said. So the Infection starts now huh?

As Alphine was walking to the school everything looks normal and calm but the students here doesn't know what's going to happen to them. As Alphine enter the Gate and  he head to his classroom and there Alphine saw Mizuki beside her is the student council Sakura.

Alphine didn't let them notice his presence so he cat walk to the fence of the school and he enters his classroom unnoticed. It is almost time for his Homeroom subject. As time passes by. Lunch came up, before Alphine was about to leave.

 Mizuki grab to his arm and her face was like about to cry, so Alphine grab  her elbow and he lead her outside not knowing the other students are looking at them like they were some sort of a couple walking.

Alphine lead Mizuki to the open ground where only less students walk around. As Alphine look Mizuki's face she's not facing him. That was when Alphine asked her what was wrong "Kelby!!! I'm sorry that I put you into my family problems" 

Alphine hug her and Mizuki was shocked to what happened . But then she spoke saying "Why are you avoiding this morning?" Alphine answered her question "Sorry  you look like you were busy with Sakura and I was thinking so many things this morning so that's why I avoided you this morning" 

After Alphine answered her question she look up to Alphine and cried then she said something to him "I thought I was going to be alone again (sobbing)" and he said "No I  will promised that! What ever happens I'll stay beside you where ever you go!!!" Then she laughs at what Alphine was saying and she said "Ohh... Kelby I just met you yesterday and now you think of us like a newly wedded couples" Alphine avoided her face at what she said to him, then she kissed Alphine's cheek and then Alphine turned red, then she also blushed at what she did and she wave goodbye, and Alphine touch his cheek like he was struck by a lightning. but Alphine did not focus on what happened because before the mission they were given an anti emotion to focus on the mission.

*** Time Skip ***

After lunch was over Alphine didn't want to go back to the classroom, but he went to the third floor of the school building and went outside to get some fresh air, then Alphine see a male student looking so down and he thought (Is that guy got dumped by a girl?) as Alphine think of it something is wrong. After a few minutes few teachers went out to the building and Alphine saw a man with a suit walking like he's like drunk or something, Alphine pulled out his small scope and then something shocking happened!
