Alpha Stone’s POV
Her jet-black hair swept down her mid back. She had cut it numerous times, but wolves had fast hair growth so I guess she grew fed up.
Watched as she stepped forward, in a blue summer dress and brown knee boots, with her nose flaring. Raquel didn’t stop until she was right in the middle of the table. My lips curved in a smirk, once more. Folded my arms, waiting for her little drama to begin.
“You…” she trailed. Her index finger swirled to the Head of Elders, Lancelot who had a fearful look on his face. “Didn’t I warn you the last time?”
“Displaying your unhinged, wild behavior again, are we Raquel?” Lancelot retorted, scratching his chin. He was going to get himself killed one of these days, was sure of it.
“You disgruntled old fool.” she spat viciously. “You seem to have forgotten your place as Elder. Let me remind you!” Raquel added, advancing towards him with her wolf speed and pushing him straight on to the other direction.
Beta Cross moved to stop caution her, but I waved it off, stopping him. That old prick f*****g deserved that, and a lot of s**t more.
He liked running his mouth, didn’t he…
I didn’t blink at the scene. Just stared at Raquel’s attack, with Leo pissed he wasn’t given a chance to do it.
“Enough sister.” I mind linked when it looked like he was going unconscious.
“OK.” she answered, walking to the table and sitting down. My sister gave me a wink.
“Now to today’s business.” I stated. “Beelzebub seems to be going out of f*****g control. He now preys on young girls and children.”
“Holy shit.” Raquel commented. “Someone needs to teach that ass tart a lesson.”
She was damn right. I second to that, however, everything bore its f*****g consequences.
“Alpha, if I may?” Beta Cross suddenly interceded. The rest of the Elders, were mute in shame from their early behaviors.
“Go on.” I mind linked my him.
“He’s influencing other demons. The information I got said exactly that. As the day passes, they’re getting more balls and coming out in the open to feed.”
“We need to put an end to these blood curling creatures!” Elder Joshua suddenly arose saying.
“Yes!!!”
The remaining of them hummed in support. I balled my hands into fists at his sudden utterance, even if he was right.
“What happens when they retaliate on our pups? Kill our wives and young warriors?” I paused a bit, before standing up. Leo howled, to exhibit a walking flamboyance of power and authority.
“We don’t just do things, we think.” I stated, hands straightening my overcoat's collar.
“Damnation, I’m not even perfect as the Alpha. It took me a lot of self-control to leave Beelzebub alone.” I continued, recalling how Cross stopped me from retaliating.
“Werewolves and demons have a bad history together.” Another Elder historically stated.
He wasn’t wrong, we did after people started associating us as the same beings.
The demons did things and werewolves got blamed for it. We had honor and there were things a werewolf wouldn't do.
“They went against our first deal to keep peace and order in this residence.” he added. “I say we send a warning.”
“And lead to war?” My sister, Raquel interceded once more. She carried on, explaining what loss could occur while I howled in support.
My pupils dilated in longing as I thought of my mate.
I needed to feel Rias, I missed her scent.
I needed to find out who took my manuscript and offer her some sort of deal using this opportunity.
Might be manipulative but I wanted her around as my Luna. Something told me if she was around things will change.

Rias POV
You know that scene in Suicide Squad when Joker asks Harlequin, “Would you die for me?” and she risks her precious life?
Hell no, that couldn’t be me.
“No amount of love would quench my sense of loving me, dammit.”
Those words were out of my mouthed off the instant I opened my eyes. I was dejected, I felt deceived. Stone was nowhere to be found. And I was currently freaking out that the man I admired turned out to be a four-legged beast! Hold on was that a dream?
No, it wasn't and I passed out I'm sure of it! I'm not the one to pass out but ever since I met him, I have passed out twice in a roll.
“Hell no, this can't work.”
I hastily rummaged the wardrobe that contained my clothing. The entire clothes were all on the floor like I was some crazy b***h. Next thing I know… I’m packing them into my portmanteau.
My other hand picked my phone, dialing my best friend’s number but it was out of reach.
“Hey Reyna, I need your help. It’s really urgent. Please call me back when you see this.”
I pushed my belongings downstairs, and was met with the startling expression of the housekeeper.
“My Luna, is everything okay?” she asked.
I wiped my head, giving her a devious look. “Are you a wolf too?” Her face wore a funny expression and I think I got my answer.
“Y- “
“Don’t come near me or a say a word to me,” I spat, stretching my hands in distance. Luckily, Stone wasn’t in sight. “Tell Mr. Colton I’ll refund his 5 million dollars,”
Soon. I thought, rapidly going out of the house with my belongings. Even if I was going to sell my kidney.
“At least I still have a better chance at living than staying with you, Stone.” I murmured, almost sobbing when I got in a cab.
“Good bye.”

“Tell me how you ended up here?!” Martin sipped from his coffee asking. “Like this?”
He sighed at how I look and I sighed too. I didn’t have anywhere to go yesterday, since Reyna didn’t pick my calls and Mr. Gremory threw me out.
So… I did what no sane person would do. I took my belongings to our office, hiding it under my desk so no one could see.
“I don’t know…”
I sighed. That wasn’t all. I currently looked like a living zombie. I hadn’t brushed, bath, I didn’t even sleep well cause I had to sleep on a little sofa at Boss Regina’s office.
“You’d better start talking or I’m calling you a therapist.” he sarcastically let out.
“Long story short. I was kicked out. I hate my life because weird things happen to me.” I let out.
I paused, tearing a skittle wrapper, before continuing.
“Wolves exist,” I added. “Horrible wolves who make you fall for them, without telling you their identity.”
At my words, Martin’s back palms outstretched to check my head temperature. He gave me a startled look.
“Don’t make me write you a doctor’s note.”
A doctor, why? Did he think I was lying?!
“Well… I need a place to stay, office pal.” I suddenly smiled at him, saying.
“I live with my mum, girlie.” he swiftly murmured. “If she approves of you, then fine.”

Office hours were over soon after. I spent the entire day working, to drift my mind off the fact that I was homeless and depressed.
When I sighted Colton’s books, stacked on my desk, I kicked them off angrily. He hadn’t even called since I left. Neither had Reyna.
Dammit…I was beginning to feel unwanted. Even though a little voice told me to be patient, I just wanted to run in a box and cry so hard.
“Come on,” Martin urged.
If his mum agreed I’ll stay in his place, my problem would be half-way solved. At least, till I found somewhere suitable. Martin helped me with one of my bags while I lifted the other, walking hopelessly.
Stopped in my tracks in tremor at what I saw.
It was Sir Colton, hands in pocket.
He was talking to Vivian who giggled. He smiled too and that strangely made my chest have a burning sensation.
