1.Tough morning

Kyle's POV: I woke up with the biggest headache hearing someone knocking at our door. I shouldn't have listened to Bryan, but for the longest time I was a really sh*tty friend to him and I needed to pay him back for handling my bulsh*t. After the first party of the year I had to admit, I was a mess. As we sneaked out of the school building, we headed into the woods. After a few minutes of walking I could hear small groups walking in front of us. Didn't really pay attention to it until I heard Nathan's voice. "...looks sexy and is funny? I have to get to know her better." It was cold shower just to see this part. "Yeah, Alice looked pretty cool. I heard that she-wolfs from Red Moon Pack are really friendly, If you know what I mean." I saw read and I didn't really cared who said that. "F*ck!" I could hear Bryan behind me but I didn't care what he thought. I grabbed that son of a b*tch and hit him right to his jaw. He was surprised but fought back immediately. He didn't really stand a chance, I was too pissed. I didn't stop until Bryan dragged me away. I could hear some boys laughing and Nathan holding his injured friend. It was Connor. "Are you freaking mad?!" He screamed after me. Holding his hopefully not broken nose. "Let me go!" I yelled at Bryan until he finally listened. "Then calm the f*ck down." "They were talking about my mate!" "You haven't claimed her yet. He has no idea you are her mate. You are acting like a lunatic." His shouting made me stop for a second and think. He was right. "Dude, you are scaring me. She is here for not even a week and you are out of control. Your father will kill you if you mess up something again. I won't be a part of this." He was right as usual. Bryan spent half of the summer visiting me after one of my fights got out of hand. "Sorry, brother. I wasn't thinking straight." "I could see that. No more fights! That's what you promised after the last time." The rest of the night was calmer. Bryan had a few drinks to calm down, now was his time to be pissed. At me. I could see Nathan's friends looking at me the whole night. Connor spent the evening shouting at me occasionally, planning revenge and he got it. After the party, they waited for me and Bryan at the end of the woods. Another knock brought me back to reality. "Who the hell?" Bryan took two big steps and quickly opened the door: "What?! Oh, it's you." he didn't sound happy. "Give me a minute." He closed again, came back to the room and started changing. I didn't have to ask who it was. I could smell her. Also, Bryan's annoyed face made it clear. He was pissed. I could see his swollen face from the fight. "I'm really sorry, bro." I said taking some new clothes as well. "At least you look worse than me, you idiot." he said, opened the door once more. "He's all yours." and left. Alice looked pretty shocked when she saw me. "What happened?" she ran to me and started examining my face. "Nothing." I said and turned away from her. "What are you doing here?" She stopped, realizing what she had done. She quickly took her hands back. Alice's POV: When Bryan opened the door, he surprised me with black eye. He didn't look happy to see me. He closed the door and let me wait. When he left his room, leaving the door open, I saw Kyle. His face was bruised and swollen. In that second, I wasn't thinking. I had to touch that face, help him, take care of him. His reaction threw me back to reality. He was cold, not looking at me. I walked to other side of the room where was little sink looking for something I could wet out. "I wanted to talk to you about something." Yes, I was. But now...I couldn't think about anything, just about his beaten face. "I'm listening." he said, trying to take the small wet towel I managed to find and dip under cold water. I didn't let him. Slowly, I started cleaning his face. He had dirt and blood on his left cheek, it was driving me crazy. I had to do at least something. He let me, slowly calming down, but holding his cold impression. But I had to ask, even when I didn't wanted to make him angry. "Could you at least tell me who did you fight with?" I couldn't believe it would be just between him and Bryan. And I was too scared to ask if it was connected with me. Kyle saw right through my question. He grabbed my hand and stopped me: "If you are asking if I beat up your new friend Nathan, you can be calm. I didn't do anything to him." He stood up and walked from his bed to his desk, leaving me next to his bed. I sat down slowly. I could see he was disappointed with me. "I just don't want you to get in some trouble. That's all." "Right." he hissed ironically. "Tell me what you want to say. I have a feeling I won't like it so let's just get over with it." "I thought about us being friends...I don't think it's a good idea." As I said it, he smirked at me: "What?" "No. You are not getting rid of me so easily." I came closer: "Well, I'm not changing my mind." He came closer: "Me neither." Suddenly, I realized this wasn't big enough distance for me to control myself. I tried to walk around him to get to the door. But he grabbed my hand and pushed me to the wall. "You have two choices. Either you will let me be close to you or I will have to remind you that we can't be apart."
