*Brie POV*
“I’m here, baby. Just relax. You don’t want to get stuck,” Flynn whispered in my ear. I leaned my head against him, and asked him not to leave me. I needed him to stay with me until this shift was over.
I could feel the fur sprouting all over my skin, and the snout on my face extending. When the contorting of my body started, I tried to scream in pain, but it came out as a pained howl.
“That’s it, Brie. Nearly done, babe,” Flynn said as he rubbed my head. Just the feel of his touch was helping.
I kept having the strangest sensation of wanting to stand, but there was no way possible that was happening right now.
“We are nearly there. You are helping us so much by relaxing. I know the pain is unbearable, but you are proving to be strong,” Bailey said.
