It was best for me to walk away because I felt like if I didn’t, things would get more confusing than they already were. Neither one of us could understand where the other was coming from at that moment.
I heard her calling for me, begging me to stop, but I couldn’t. I just hope that she will understand that it is for the best right now.
I’m not used to having these kinds of emotions. I cared for people, but I never let them fully in. The only other people who had ever gotten that close to me were Blaze and his dad. No one else. After the hurt I went through with my own blood, I wouldn’t let anyone else hurt me like that again.
