It was a normal occurrence at this point for Sheen to arrive minutes earlier then the required time—each time they ended up having a bit of a conversation between themselves, just them.
It was random—from talks of music to movies then to food, each time had Sheen ridiculously laughing or smiling—Avra liked that, just them enjoying eachother company.
And her being around Sheen made her day brighter—she had developed a crush earlier on before the two were as close as they were now and had gained some information about her.
Sheen was a very artistic and enthusiastic person when it came to music, books and food—most definitely food.
She had a certain sparkle in her eyes whenever she talked, like deeply talked not just responding. Most Sundays Avra dropped her off well after a detour to the nearest ice-cream shop.
Mars noticed whenever Sheen came back, she was always smiling and had her favourite flavoured ice cream with of course one for Mars—Avra was very generous.
She liked her even if she hadn’t met her officially but Sheen liked her, she seemed happy—even if she continuously made it clear to stated that they were just friends and Avra didn’t see her like that.
It was the opposite and Sheen might have developed a crush on her as well.
Like usual—early and cheerful—she walked through the door with a smile just for Avra. Today was different those Avra wasn’t busy arranging the chairs or setting up anything for the session.
She was simply busy on her phone playing a game, by the sound of cheerful voice that rang each time she got it correct.
“What’s up today?” Sheen asked walking up to Avra, taking the seat beside her.
Her game paused, she looked over at Sheen taking in her appearance—no matter how many times Avra locked eyes with Sheen, she could never get over her beautiful light brown eyes staring right back at her.
“Everyone has been given a holiday sort of—no session today. Didn’t you get the message I sent it on the group.”
Sure, she did know she sent it to everyone on the group and everyone got it—then why did she come here, simple for Sheen. With all the time they spent together she never liked looking at her phone and rarely responded to the messages on the group.
She had a feeling Sheen wouldn’t see it till later—and she was so right.
“I didn’t check my messages.” Sheen mumbled staring at her phone, checking the message Avra had sent and there it was sent an hour ago with everyone replying with an okay.
She really had to check her messages more often.
“Come on!” Avra stood slipping her phone into her pocket she held out her hand for Sheen to take, as she stood. “Let’s waste time together.”
With a smile she followed.
It had taken them walking side by side around the museum—Avra did collectively listen to what she wanted seriously each time and visiting this museum was on her to do list.
It was sort of a date she didn’t directly ask her to but date nonetheless—and the reason for cancelling today’s session.
It was worth it, if you asked Avra—Sheen hadn’t stopped happily walking from one art work to the next, explaining each detail to Avra.
How she took her attention off the piece to stare at Avra then explain each detail. Although she was listening most times she was stuck staring at her—the strands of her hair falling on her face, her gummy smile and her little squeals.
Each time brushing her hair off her face, playing off her prolonged stare with a peck on her cheek or forehead.
Even though she wanted to kiss her directly on the lips.
Watching her enthusiastically interact with the kid brought a smile on her face—apparently the kid called it rubbish and Sheen heard—she had been giving him a thirty minute lecture on the piece and it’s meaning in the most cute interesting way.
The kid had no choice but to listen—he might have acted bored but the sparkle in his eyes whenever she caught his undivided attention—she knew he was enjoying it too.
Taking a step back as she waved at the boy she slightly bumped into Avra’s front.
“I’m sorry.” they both mumbled at the same time before carrying one—they had a lot to see and a lot more hours to go.
As they walked down the narrow corridor filled with paintings left and right, Avra got a little more closer—Interlocking her hand with Sheen she smiled and so did Sheen.
Not much was spoken but they had both been blushing through out—heart filled with content and excitement—it was all just enough.
