WHILE TERIN WAS in the bedroom talking to Phalen, Cole and I discussed the visit from Preacher earlier.
Cole scratched the stubble on his chin. “Kind of surprised he’s getting this involved with trying to find Collin. Didn’t you mention that Preacher and he didn’t always get along?”
“Collin barely got alone with anyone. I’m sure Trina begged him to help her find him.”
“What did Tank have to say about all of this?”
“Not much, although it sounds like Preacher told him to f**k off when he asked for a sit-down.”
Cole grunted. “He’s obviously involved with the break-in at Tank’s.”
“Hell, he probably took the s**t in his bed. The guy is a f*****g whack-job.”
“Yeah. He’s got a lot of f*****g nerve, that’s for sure.”
