The night was fast approaching, and Roland sat on the bed inside his room, staring at the wallpaper and paintings hanging around. It's been so long. Many years had passed, but his room remained exactly the way it was when he left. Lauren had been right after all. They’d been expecting his return. Worse, they never stopped tidying his room as if he'd come back any day. Roland exhaled softly, swiping his fingers on the bed frame. “Not even a trace of dust,” he muttered.
