The sound of clattering tables and chairs tore the calm afternoon as the gang fought back. Most pedestrians ran off. Others stood on the side line, along with Russell, who had his daughter's hands wrapped around his arm. They watched, mouth wide open, bodies trembling as the riot continued. “Stop. Stop this now already!” Russell’s voice tumbled out, hands shaking for fear of his son's life. But Roland didn't hold back.
