THE DIG I filled most of Tuesday with calls and the visit to Corwin at Croesus Gold. Cerveteri was a little over halfway from Rome to the hotel in Civitavecchia, so I decided to take my time and stop for a meal. Eioli Osteria wouldn’t be wise since Dr. Demir seemed to be a regular there. But while wandering through the city with Alana the other day, we found some other spots that might be worth looking into. La Cantina di Margherita was the one I chose, and I had a fabulous meal without the demands of a conversation about Charlie’s death and the coin theft to distract me. Seafood was the specialty at Margherita’s, so I opted for all three courses in that vein.
