THE DIG
After a quick breakfast, Thursday, we headed to the dig. I was focused on the suspicious behavior of Demir and Corwin, the jailing of Yavuz, and Tesa’s inexplicable behavior. But the work continued, and there seemed little else to do while we waited for Rafaela Indolfo and the wheels of Italian justice to turn. I was not much help at the archeological site, so I focused on watching and learning.
It had only been a couple of days since I arrived in Tarquinia, and progress at dig sites was traditionally very slow.
