Chapter 9 The Doctors Visit and shift
1500 Words
"So doc am I cleared of all those drugs?"
Those were the first words out of my mouth and his answer was...
"Diana I need to draw some blood and run it I should know in approximately one hour will that be fine with you?"
"Yes doc it will be fine just please hurry up and run your tests."
"Alright I just need you to sit down right here in this chair and I can draw some blood and it will take about an hour maybe less to get the results back. Are you ready Diana?"
"Ready as I'll ever be lets get this s**t done."
Third person point of view
As Diana and Thomas wait for the results they attempt to get to know each other better.
They ask each other questions and Thomas has a better understanding of how Diana's life was before she met him.
The hour is finally up and the doctor comes into the room with a humongous smile on his face.
"So what is the verdict doc?" Diana asks with concern.
"Well Diana if I am correct you should see both of your forms by midnight tonight."
"Wait seriously that soon?" Diana asks with bewilderment.
"Yes ma'am that soon."
"Please do not call me ma'am it makes me feel old as shit."
"Sorry its a respect thing."
Diana and Thomas leave the hospital and Thomas mind links his mom.
"Mom the doctor told Diana that she will be shifting at midnight tonight just in time for the full moon."
"That's fantastic son who all does she want there when she shifts for the first time?"
"I do not know let me ask her and I'll let you know."
" Diana who do you want there with you when you shift?"
"You your mom I guess Dennis and lets see if he can get my baby brother out here for it as well."
"Let me see if my mom can get him to call your baby brother to see if he can make it."
Mom can you ask the king if he will call his son to see if he wants to come meet his big sister and to be here when she shifts? Diana wants him here and I will not deny her. But the king might so she wants you to ask him, we are on our way back to my room Diana wants to get some sleep before the full moon tonight.
Of course son I'll go ask our king right now and inform him of Diana's decision to have her brother here tonight.
Okay please let me know of his decision so I can tell Diana.
Not a problem son let me find out and then I will let you know.
"Your majesty Diana would like for you to get her brother here before the full moon so he can be present for her shift she also asks for you, me, and my son to be present when she shifts."
"What already? I thought it would be another couple of days before she could shift. Of course I will get her brother here. He always said when and if I found his sister he wanted to be there for her."
The following is the phone conversation between Dennis and Lloyd.
*ring ring ring ring*
"Hello?"
"Lloyd its your father I finally found her. She wants you here tonight the jet is on its way get to the airport NOW!!!!"
Lloyd hangs up and runs out of the house.
"Get me to the airport as soon as possible. your crown princess has been found!"
Two hours later Lloyd has landed, and there is a car waiting for him to take him to his father and big sister.
The driver breaks all speed limit signs because there are royal flags on the car.
Lloyd finally pulls up to the gates.
"State your name and your business here."
"I am your prince and I am here to see my father and your king and my sister Diana, let me through."
" Right away your highness."
"Thomas jr you might want to wake Diana up and tell her that there is a surprise waiting for her in our commons area."
"Huh what mom you woke me up with that but no explanation. What is going on?"
"You will see when u get her to the commons area that is where me your dad and her father are at right now."
"Mom how long has it been since I last mind linked you?"
"Two hours now get both your asses down here."
"Diana love you need to get up. My mom said that they have a surprise for you in the commons room."
At the word surprise Diana jumped up out of bed and threw on some clothes.
"Well what are you waiting for get your ass up Thomas and lets go."
When Diana spoke to him like that Thomas could not help his laughter he started laughing so hard he was crying.
Ten minutes later...
Diana comes into the commons room and all of a sudden out of nowhere comes this 16 year old boy and he wrapped her in a gigantic hug.
"Salve magna soror. (Hello big sister.) Nomen meum Lloyd im tam felix est ut tandem tibi occurram. ( My name is Lloyd and im so happy to finally meet you.)"
Diana goes stiff for a few minutes then collapses onto the ground in a fit of hysterical tears.
Lloyd asks "What is wrong what did I do? Did I break her daddy?"
"No my son I just think she is overwhelmed and when you hugged her like you just did it broke the emotional dam that she had in place. I also think your big sister has been hurt enough in her life that this finally broke her. I do not think that her mother was ever loving towards her and she doesn't know to react to the love you are showing her."
"Big sister don't cry I am so sorry for the life you have had."
Lloyd goes down to her level to hug her but Diana scoots backward on the floor. Thomas bends down and picks her up, " What's wrong my love?"
Diana just shakes her head saying no. Dennis comes over to Thomas "Can I?"
Thomas reluctantly passes Diana over to Dennis and Diana just starts crying harder reaching for Thomas while shaking her head no even harder.
"I'm sorry my king it looks like Diana can not handle being in anyone elses arms but my son's I hope you understand she thought you were dead for so long all of this is getting to her. Plus when Lloyd hugged her and broke her dam that she had up she can not handle anything right now. It is best that we let Thomas take her back to his room to calm her down and when she does calm down we will see if she still wants everyone she said at her shift there. I hope you understand."
"I do understand but that does not mean that I have to like that your son gets to hold my baby girl my princess the light of my life and I can not."
"I can understand that you do not like it but we all including you and your son have to think of how she is feeling right at this present moment. She literally feels like she is broken and that noone can put her back together. But that is where she is wrong if anyone can it is my son and their mate bond."
While Diane Thomas's mom was speaking to the king Thomas took her to his room where he sat holding her and letting her get all the tears out to calm down.
After about one hour of trying to calm Diana down and it not working Thomas mind linked his mom.
"Mom can you please bring Prince Lloyd to my room the mate bond is not helping to calm Diana down like we thought it would. I'm thinking that the person who broke her dam will be the only one who can calm her down, and seeing as that person was not the king but her baby brother I think I need him in here to get her to calm down just tell him when he walks in to keep his distance and lets see what happens."
"Alright son Prince Lloyd and I are on our way. Do you want me to stay as well?"
" You might as well that way you can see if it will work or not."
Prince Lloyd and Luna Diane walk quietly to Thomas's room when they get there all they can hear are the heart breaking sobs coming from Diana.
"Big sister are you okay?" Lloyd asks with concern.
The next thing everyone in the room sees is Diana jumping up from Thomas's arms and running across the room.
