Chapter 8 The next day

The day after Thomas and I spoke I woke up wrapped in his embrace. I honestly do not now how today is going to go but we will find out soon.
"Good morning beautiful how did you sleep?" Thomas asked me.
"I slept better than I have in a long time and it is all because of you. Thomas I I think I have fallen in love with you is that normal? I have only known you for a few days."
"Yes beautiful it is normal for you to feel that way. That is how the bond works for us. And you are a literal princess your dad isn't calling you princess as a nickname he is actually using your title."
"What if I dont want to be an actual princess what if I want to be a normal person?"
"You are not normal baby you are supernatural and to top that off you automatically get the crown if something happens or your father retires."
"Will I be a good ruler? I don't want to let him down but I also dont want to step on my little brother's toes. He had to of been preparing since he was eight to take over unless Dennis told him that I was his sister and that he was looking for me. I'm just honestly scared of what my little brother will think when his dad introduces us to each other."
"Baby he is your dad too not just your little brother's dad. Think of it this way he is probably going to give you a gigantic hug and not want to let go of you. You know that the Alpha position is automatically handed over to the first born son. So our first born son will automatically become Alpha and our next born can take over from you as either the king or queen of lycans and wolves."
"What if I don't want our children having anything to do with the crown? What if I want them to be children, and for them to enjoy their lives for as long as they can?"
"Well let's get dressed and go see the doctor its time to find out if the drugs are all the way out of your system. If they are we will find out how long til you can shift."
We headed to the hospital on the pack grounds to see if the drugs were out of my system. When we got there we found King Dennis waiting there for us.
"What in the f**k are you doing here Dennis?"
"First off I'm your father and you will respect that....."
I interrupted him "Yes I am your daughter but that doesn't mean you automatically get my respect, you have to earn my respect. Second I do not remember inviting you to see if those damned drugs are gone from my system."
"Wow you are so like me that it is hilarious." He stated.
"You will stay out of the way and out of the room. Depending on what the doctor says then you will be told. Until you have gained my respect you will only be told if the drugs have left my system. Do you understand?"
"Ja, ich verstehe Tochter (Yes I understand daughter.)"
"Sag was, wie kann ich dich verstehen und welche Sprache sprechen wir? (say what how can i understand you and what language are we speaking?)"
"Wir sprechen Deutsch, Tochter (we are speaking german daughter)."
"Deutsch Deutsch, wie was warum? (German German how what why?)"
Ja, Tochter, ich kann sehr gut Deutsch und anscheinend lernst du es schnell. (Yes, daughter, I know German very well and apparently you are learning it quickly.)
"Nun, jeder sagt, ich sei etwas Besonderes. Aber wie besonders, weiß ich nicht. ( Well everyone is saying I am special. But how special I do not know.)"
"I want to test something to see just how special you are in going to say something to you in the language your brother speaks as well to see how special you really are. Is that okay?"
"Fine whatever."
"Frater tuus latine loquitur. (Your brother speaks Latin.)"
"Quid frater meus latine loquitur? (What do you mean my brother speaks latin?)
" Ah so its not just German you understand its also latin."
"Um okay but how does that make me special?"
"Latin is a dead language only know by the humans and Catholic churches. Your little brother took it upon himself to learn Latin, and man did he learn latin. He spoke it so frequently that I picked up on it and we can converse in Latin and German to each other. And now it seems that you will be able to speak it to your brother and the two of you will outspeak any one else who thinks that they know or understand Latin."
"Well we have to get to this appointment to find out anything and we will let u and toms mom know the minute we know anything. Tj are you ready?"
"Lets go get this over with so we can see how long before you can shift."
