The battle for Phillips Corp had moved to a new level. Gordon was about to pull his final cards. He had a secret meeting with a company that he had admired over the years in a complimenting sector. He was looking at growing a bigger, stronger Phillips Corp with investments in more sectors and with no Chinese conglomerate breathing down his neck. His ultimate plan was also to step down as CEO and take the role of chairman in the new company. But not just yet. He had to play his cards right.
