I followed the smell of food into the kitchen to see my wonderful girlfriend cooking breakfast while swinging her hips very happily. We found out I was pregnant twenty minutes ago and she has been so excited since then. And I don't want to mess with that but for some reason, I don't feel that excitement. Don't get me wrong I am happy, I'm pregnant, I'm having a baby. But there's something in me that's just not having it, mentally that is.
But this woman in front of me is filled with happiness and I can't take that away from her. I sat down on the stool by the island and watched as she moved her hips side to side, slightly singing a song.
