Their pack is called the Blue Lake pack, which I assume is named after the lake behind the hotel.
Pam is Dean's older sister en he is the Gamma of the pack. The gamma is the 3rd in command. Above him, you have the Betta and at the top, you have the Alpha. The boss of the pack. Blue Lake pack is the second largest pack in de country. Some of the wolves live here in the village, but most of them live in the forest, near the big packhouse.
After our short conversation, I went back upstairs to my room.
I was going to take a nice long bath. My mind soon drifted to Dean.
My aunt once told me that most werewolves were very handsome. Dean was no exception. Muscular arms, judging by his shirt, he probably has a six-pack. And eyes to dream away in.
After a while the water got cold. By now it was almost midnight so I decided to go to sleep.
For the first time in forever, I woke up feeling well-rested. I looked at the clock and it was already 9.30 am. I took a quick shower, by the time I got downstairs they were already cleaning up breakfast.
Luckily I don't eat that much in the morning and I was able to grab some fruit.
While I was eating Pam came up to me. "Hi Haily, did you sleep well?" I smiled. "Yes absolutely. So good I was almost late for breakfast. Luckily I don't eat much in the morning and a cup of tea is enough for me.
"Glad to hear that. I came to tell you that Dean spoke to Alpha Jason. If he has time this week he would like to talk to you."
"Oh wow, with the Alpha? Do you know why?"
"No not really, but I think it's just a formality. Because you know about us. So, do you have plans for today?" She asked.
"No, not really. I saw the brochures at the entrance. I wanted to explore the neighborhood a bit today."
"Okay, if you want I can ask Dean to show you around?"
"I don't want to be a burden. He must be busy. And I don't mind going alone, most of the time I find the way quickly."
"Okay fine for me. If you change your mind just call."
I thank Pam and walk to my room to pack my things. On my way out I ran into Dean. He was with another young man, I assume a werewolf.
If I thought Dean was handsome, this man was a god. So handsome. As muscular as Dean, if not more, I could only stare. And man was I glad I spent a little time on my looks this morning.
Somewhere I heard Dean talking, but I couldn't understand it, I could only look at him. Then out of nowhere, I heard a growl. "MATE"
What the hell?
JASON pov
Last night I got a call from Dean. Something about a young woman who knew about us. First, I got angry, how could this happen? But he explained that she had known for a long time. I'll have to talk with her anyway. To make sure she doesn't say anything.
I asked him to let her know that I want to speak to her sometime this week.
I look at the clock. 9.30.
My next appointment isn't until noon. Plenty of time to talk to that woman. I mind link Dean.
"Dean, I'm going to the hotel now. I want you to come with me. I'll be waiting in my office."
"Yes Alpha, give me 15 minutes."
Along the way, Dean shared what he knew, which wasn't much.
When we got out of the car I smelled the most delicious scent. Hot chocolate with a mix of strawberries.
Before me stood a beautiful woman, I think in her early 20's. Long blond hair, thin but not too thin. A little smaller than me. Beautiful bright blue eyes.
Fuck! She's human. I've waited so long for my mate, how can the moon goddess give me a human mate?
I still want her... But what will the pack say? Will they accept a human Luna?
Somewhere in the distance, I heard Dean say this was Haily. The woman he had told me about. But all I could do was look at her.
I tried to hold back so as not to scare her.
When I saw the way she looked at me, with lust in her eyes a roar escaped.
"MATE."
Her eyes with lust changed to shock and fear. "Please don't be afraid."
"I'm not scared, just in shock"
I sighed with relief. I extended my hand. "I'm Jason, the Alpha of the blue lake pack." She shook my hand.
" My name is Haily, just arrived yesterday." I felt sparks when our hands touched.
