BETRAYAL

She knew him through her sister who she once lived with, he was the sister’s family Sheikh but they hardly talk. Earlier this year, he chatted her up on messenger that he saw something in her. In his words “someone is trying to kill her glory” She gave him an audience and he in-turn asked her out. Knowing his family already (he has a wife and children) she kicked against his request. I’m not interested, she said. But he won’t stop coming! The wife intervened, she said “ I know about it, I’m even the one that recommended you for him, please say yes” Innocent her agreed, in no time, he came around for an introduction and Nikkah date was picked. Her dad had a reservations about him, “ he is too much to be real, I don’t trust him” but love they say can blind one’s eyes to seeing the truth even if it’s staring right in front of you. She insisted! He trusted her judgement, at least, you are the one going into it, you know better. Funny how the red flag has been everywhere even before the nikkah but yet, she wasn’t ready to let him go. He started borrowing from her after coming for the introduction. She started slaving for his family before the Nikkah. She would made clothes for the children and the wife in the state she was and send to where they are all with her money, funny right? That was what love and sweet mouth made her do. The first wife insisted they wear the same clothes on her big day, same clothes, shoes and even scarf. She had told her earlier that if she wants to stay longer in the family, she has to obey her 💯 and do whatever she wants her to do or else, she will leave the marriage anytime she made her mad. So of-course, she allowed her wear same thing on her supposed big day. Before their Nikkah, the parents asked him to bring money for food since they would be coming from a long distant and he sent 50k. During their Nikkah, he initially gave her 20k but Imam that wanted to officiate the Nikkah said it’s too small. He added 10k and borrow 5k immediately after the Nikkah was done. After the whole celebration, she packed her boxes ready to travel but again, she has to foot the whole family’s travels bill because their husband was broke and they had to get to their destination regardless. In the car, the first wife asked for the money that was sprayed on her. She collected it all without looking back. And from the car, the real struggle started!!! To be continued 📌📌📌
