"Tell me about your family." " Where do I start? My mother is very supportive... My biggest fan. My father is a hard headed man but I know he is a softy. Luca, is like my brother. We grew up together. he is with me all the time. His sister, Gabriella, well, she is totally the opposite to him. Like there were a bunch of times I thought she was adopted." Sia giggled. "what about you?" "well, there is Leo, he is just like me, it's actually frightening. then I have my baby sister, who is a little light. we spoil her rotten. Hopefully she doesn't turn out to be a snob one day. my mom, just like yours, is very supportive and loving, my father, set in his ways. I think it's the Italian traditions. what my father did, I must do. what my grandfather did I must do. you know." "No way! You are also Italian! So am I. wait. I don't even know how old you are, and you are lying in my bed!" Sia sat up. "Guess my age and I will do yours...", " thirty four..." "wow so young.... missed your mark by five years. now my turn! Thirty four...." "how did you know?" "just a guess. Maybe it's my super power." he smiled and rested his head on his hands which were on the back of his head on the pillow. "Do you want to watch something?" Sia asked, looking at him. "I actually think it may be time for me to go." he looked at his smart watch on his Right wrist. It was after one in the morning. "Oh, okay. I will walk you out then?" Sia sounded disappointed. "yeah, thanks." he got up from the bed, she did as well, she gestured him to the door, and followed after him. "Thank you for the company." "Yeah, you werent so boring, I could have told you otherwise." "Thank you, I'll take it as a compliment." They both reached the door. "I'm leaving a little later today, once I saw the time, I sort of got a surprise. I go back and go straight to work. I'm not just leaving... I mean, um, I don't want to leave. I've had a wonderful evening. Meeting you, well, has been one of the best things that has happened in a long time." Dominic rambled on. Sia wiped an invisible sweat off her forehead. "I thought I said something you didn't like. Thought it was me. "not at all! I'm sorry, I should have been clearer with you." he held her chin in his hand. "thank you for an incredible night." he leaned in for a kiss, A tender, gentle, and romantic touch of the lips. It's was soft, whispery brush of skin against skin, sending shivers down her spine. His lips barely graze, yet the spark was undeniable. Time stands still as the world around melts away, leaving them lost in the magic of the moment. The kiss was like a feather floating on air, light, free, and full of promise. It was a sweet, innocent, and thrilling sensation that awakened the heart and set the soul aflutter. He pulls away flustered. " I didn't imagine it being that good. I knew when I saw your lips, that you kissed well but I didn't think that it would prevent me from wanting to leave." The door was standing open. He had pushed her against the wall. He fought so hard to leave but he was dumbfounded, confused and didn't have the urge to get rest for work any longer. He was hellbent on going, just to be in somewhat of a good state, for when he got to the office, but the kiss was a plot twist. "I've got to go. I'm boarding a plane in a few hours, but fuck." He stared in her eyes. she was starstruck, kissed into silence. He walked out, stood by the entrance. "I suppose this Is, good night?" she smiled once more. "I guess this Is..." He turned and walked away. She closed the door. A war was brewing inside of her. fighting this battle comes with discipline she just didn't have. She swung the door open, expecting to run after him, barefoot and like she was in a love actually movie, but he stood there. Hand on the door frame and a fire in his eyes. "I really have to go, but I really want to stay."
