Chapter 3

Nowadays, Julian has been either coming late to work or not coming at all. Luna was worried, but she decided to ask him personally because if it continues like this, his business would go down the drain, and she doesn't want it because no other company would give her a job, because she has an incomplete education and now it's looking like her only source of income is about going down the drain, she also thought about Julian “He's been building this business for more than 10 years, how will he feel if it goes down the drain, what about the other workers how will they cope, I have to do something” she thought to herself.

Julian walked in suddenly, but he was on a call, he was smiling and laughing, it's so rare to see,Julian smiled that way it's only means one thing meant “He's talking to his friend”. Luna said to herself as she followed him, and he went to his office to sit, but as he declined the call, he was shocked to see Luna standing in front of him. “When did you come in, that I didn't notice”, Julian said as his face changed. Luna felt cold chills run down her spine, fearing that he'd sack her, but all of a sudden she got that confidence “sir, your absence is causing a lot in your business”, she said, her hands became all sweaty. Julian didn't feel any remorse, but she repeated the statement again, thinking he hadn't heard the first time. “I actually heard you the first time, I decided not to reply” Julian said as he continued going through the files that were dropped on his table, even as Luna was scared she didn't give up, “sir, do you know how many people work in your firm, do you know how many people's life depends on only here, you have everything but some of us are struggling” she responded as tears were rolling down her eyes.

Julian stopped what he was doing to listen to her because he felt all she said, and he couldn't stand it when a female cried beside him. He took out his handkerchief and gave it to her to clean her face. She was adamant to collect it, but she did, because Julain insisted“ it's actually not my fault It's the top business in Visitors, Saint villa Julian becomes the number 5, but I have lots of things on my table and my hands are tied but, I'll make it up to everyone, from next week I'll be here fully” he said going towards Luna to comfort her. “Woah, I knew he has a soft spot” but as he walks towards Luna, his phone rings and as he picks it up his whole mood changes again and he leaves immediately. Luna couldn't help but kept on having doubts in her mind that Julian will ever have time, and she walked out of his office and tried to clean her face well with the handkerchief that was given to her, and she puts it in her handbag when she got to her office forgetting that it wasn't hers, she completed all her works and sorted out all of Julian's meeting to ensure his business doesn't go down the drain so she did everything within her power and she went home a bit early this time around because she was done with all her work and as usual she got Ava's favorite chocolate and board a taxi home and normally all taxi drivers don't drive inside, but this particular cab man said he would drop her in front of her house and Luna was grateful not knowing the danger of her taking Julain's handkerchief home with her, although she also doesn't know that she took it, the cab man dropped her in front of her house and she paid the man, but the cab man didn't leave, she started feeling weird “ this taxi driver isn't driving off, but I've paid him, well maybe he has an issue with his cab who knows” she thought as she went to open the door, but she felt like he was watching her now she really knew something was up, her hands were trembling as she attempted to open her door but as she turned back to confront him why he hasn't left he was right behind her with the same speed as that of Ava, now she knew something was up “open the door” he whispers to her ear also holding her waist, Luna has always been ready for situations like this ever since Ava clocked 10, different scenarios has been happening, she obeyed what the taxi driver said and went ahead to open the door, so she tapped the doorbell 3 times the taxi driver didn't understand what happened, but he asked “there's someone in this house where is the person?” Luna pretended not to understand what he said so he transformed into a werewolf to scare her standing on his two feet and roars, although Luna was scared because it's the same creature she's been seeing in her nightmares, she steps back cause of fright the taxi driver left her to search for Ava, but all was avail, so he transforms back and told her “my eyes are on you” then he left, but he has scattered everywhere, she went outside to confirm if he was still outside, now she could breathe properly, she called out to Ava and hugged her real tight and as she was about to clean up her house she saw Julian standing right in front of her door, she was surprised “what's going on, how did you locate my house” she said while she breathes a sign of relief again still looking confused and tried to understand what was going on.
