Elise: the modern Ganyo

Story 5: A very normal school day

We have already seen our main character in the beginning of the school year and in different places outside of school. But what about school? What does she do when she's in school? Well...my dear reader, I have a perfect story to answer your questions. It was a Monday, the weather was good for an autumn day. Our first lesson was English. My school starts in the afternoon at 1:30pm. Elise, as usual came to school at 1:40pm, she's always late for class. Then she sat on her desk, the last row in the middle. She loves that place because instead of paying attention she just talks quietly with her friends while everyone else is studying. Then our next lesson was Maths. Elise thought that it will be perfect for taking selfies and chewing gum. Then it was time for PE. All Elise did was sit on the bench with her besties and talk. Our teacher got angry and tried to tell her to get up and do something but as always - nothing worked. After that we had a 20 minute break which Elise used to go out of school to buy food, a cup of hot coffee and to smoke a cigarette, all while being with her boyfriend who is from the upperclassmen, a year older than her, he's in 12th grade. 4th and 5th lessons for the day were in our native language which she spent doodling something on her notebook, in fact the only notebook she had with her, while chewing gum secretly. When our teacher saw her she got mad but Elise tried telling her that she didn't have any gum. 6th lesson was when she started getting tired. This time Elise decided to simply skip the 7th lesson and go home. Luckily we didn't have a 7th lesson because our teacher was absent and that's how she saved herself from being written down as absent for that specific lesson. As to what she usually carries with herself for school - notebook and a pen. She doesn't bother taking a backpack or anything else because she doesn't care about school or education.
