Tyler had to kill someone to activate his wolf transformation, and I can't stop thinking about it. I want to ask him more questions, but I know perfectly well that he won't answer my questions this time.
I turn my body to look at him sleeping, and I feel my eyes water when I remember my life now. Furthermore, I was smiling a little while ago, and now I feel the urge to cry.
I keep looking at him, wishing that Tyler would open his eyes right now and hug me, but that doesn't happen. I turn my body to the other side of the bed, feeling the tears in my eyes.
Likewise, I close my eyes, trying to cry silently, when I remember that I no longer have my family and that any day now I could be killed by vampires. Tyler says he'll protect me, but I know he can't do that all the time.
