I opened my eyes to see the lab being destroyed by the explosion. Tyler tries to run faster, but seconds later, we are thrown through the air by the huge impact.
I fall to the ground, putting my hands over my ears as I hear another explosion. I close my eyes tightly, cry, and fall to the ground.
I feel the tears of blood returning to my face. I sit down on the floor, feeling the effects of the tranquilizer wear off. I look at the laboratory, which is still on fire and completely destroyed.
I screamed, looking at the fire, when I realized that she really was gone. I tried everything to save her, but my mother is dead, and I know that nothing will change that.
I keep looking and feel Tyler's hand helping me up.
"We can't be here when someone comes here, Amelia.", He hugs my body
