His:Always and forever

Chapter 5

Alice's P.O.V

I wake up to light coming through the curtains, I forgot to close them last night. I get out of bed to see it's only 7am. Deciding to get showered and ready for the day. I have no clue what I'm doing today, so I go for something comfy, jeans, a tank top, and trainers. Not a dress kind of girl more tomboy.

It's now just after 8 am, no one has come to my room, so I guess they are still asleep or busy. I manage to make my way to the kitchen, the chef is cooking, and he tells me breakfast will be ready in half an hour, so I just grab a cup of tea and go sit outside. It's nice not too hot, but bet later it will be.

It's peaceful out here, I enjoy my tea just as I finish a maid comes out to say breakfast is ready. I make my way to the dining table and see so much food enough for a small army.

I guess everyone is here as I hear footsteps coming into the room. I turn around to see 6 people staring at me. The only person I have met here is James, and he's not there. There is a little girl about 4 years old that runs up to me and hugs my leg. When she lets go, I bend down to her level.

"What's your name?" I ask.

"I'm Bella. Are you the cousin that's come to live with us?"

"I think I am my names katie."

The older man and women come forward looking like they are about to cry. "We are your aunt and uncle, we are so glad that you are here, I know the circumstances aren't great, but we have missed you," my uncle says. The my aunt must have noticed my confused face and said "I guess you don't remember us you were only little but your family and I'm just glad to see you again, a beautiful young girl" with a smile.

I mutter a small thank you, not really used to compliments. "Can we start eating? I'm hungry," Bella says.

We all sit around the table as James comes in saying morning. Bella sits next to me. The other man there introduces himself. "I'm Cole, your cousin. This is my lovely wife, coral, and you have met our daughter," he says, laughing. The other girl pipes up. "I'm sam, your favourite cousin and closer in age."

We all start eating, and everyone is talking, mainly working for the guys, and women are talking about shopping trips. They ask me if I would like to go. "I guess I could use some clothes. Most of mine are not for this heat," I say, laughing.so it's all set for a shopping trip.

Bella keeps talking. I have no clue what about as she speaks so fast. When we finish, Bella is so excited to show me something that she is dragging me out of the room while everyone else is just laughing.

I'm being kidnapped, and they laugh. That's just mean. I know she's only 4, but she means business, whatever she is going to show me.

She takes me up to my room, which is confusing how she knows. As we open the door, she says it's her room. Which makes sense. "This is the room I stayed in, James said it was the only one ready," I tell her as she looks at my bags confused. "Yay, we can have a sleepover." Iso excited. I agree and she shows me her teddies and toys. After playing for a little bit, her mum comes up as my aunt and uncle want to talk.

I make my way downstairs to the library as that is where they are. The door is open, so I walk in and join them on the opposite sofa.

"We know you've had a lot happen and a big move, so we want you to talk to us if you want. We are always around," my aunt starts. I just replied, Thank you."

"So I know you only got here yesterday, but we just want to set some rules, same we had with the others," my uncle says, looking stern.

"To start we have curfew 10pm school days and 11pm weekends, you can go out whenever you want but just let us know where some place may not be safe just till you know where not too go"

"That's far enough, but I would be going to college, I did my GCSE before I came here,"

"It's a bit different over here, but similar, we will talk to the school and find out the options for you." I nod in return to my aunt.

"No smoking,drugs,alcohol or boys"

"That's fine" with a chuckle at the end.

"If you want or need anything you come to us no matter what even if you think it's bad we will help as best we can, we will give you our numbers as well as your cousins"

"The most important rule is to respect each other. That is one all of us go by," my aunt says with a smile, and I smile back.

"They all seem pretty fine. I don't think I will have trouble with them,"

"That's good, so we will look at school tomorrow, so a little about us. I'm your aunt pat your dad's sister and my husband Ian," she smiles, looking at him.

"Cole is 30 and doesn't live here anymore but not too far away as he has a family, Bella spend time here so you will see her, James and Sam are on the second floor but they have place outside they can live but mainly here"

"James put my in Bellas' room yesterday," I say with a chuckle.

"Oh that boy, he's probably forgot to get a room sorted well it works out well later I can show you the spare rooms and you can pick and change how you want" my aunt says shaking her head.

"Thank you. Bella wants to have a sleepover with me tonight anyway."

They both start laughing. "Bella has a way with people," my uncle says.

"Is there anything you want to ask or know before we get ready for shopping?"

"Not really, but I do have one question if I got a part-time job and needed to stay out later than curfew, would that be ok?"

"If you want a job we can help but depending on the job and where I'm sure we can work things out as long as you talk to us" my aunt smiles I guess happy I want to work.

My uncle pops up with " you a free to use anything in the house, I usually use the office here so just knock if you need me, we normal have breakfast together at 7:30 lunch we normal do our own thing, we would like to have dinner all together which is at 7pm, family dinner with everyone is Sundays that's the only mandatory one"

"That's fine. I'm going to go get ready if that's everything."

"Yes, of course, dear. we will leave in an hour and get lunch while we are out,"

I get up and leave to get ready.

I think it might be good here they seem nice and caring. They look at me like they found what is lost. Maybe this will help me make a fresh start. Be a better person and stop living in the past with my pain.
