His:Always and forever

Chapter 4

Alice's P.O.V

It takes about an hour to get to my new home. James hasn't really spoken to me, which I don't mind. As we drive up to some big metal gates that have 2 scary looking guards standing there. I shrink into my seat, but they just seem to look at james and open the gates.

Driving up toward a massive mansion, my jaw drops to the floor. It is beautiful. It looks like a dream house that you can only imagine. I hear James start chuckling next to me that snaps me back from staring.

"Come on, let me show you your room, then we can get some food, and I'll give you a tour," James says.

"I think I may need a map so I don't get lost."

I follow James up the steps and through the front door. Looking around, it looks very elegant and screams money. I guess they have more money than sense. Everything is clean and doesn't look used. I'm definitely not going to touch anything. I follow James up the stairs that look more like a grand entrance for a ball. Then , along a corridor and up more stairs, then a right and a left. James stops, and I walk straight into him, damn that hurt.

"This is your room." he opens the door, and I don't know what to say, I'm gobsmacked. " I'll leave you to get unpacked and settled. I'll come back in an hour for dinner so you don't get lost." he makes his way out, shutting the door.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry. My room looks like a unicorn throw up in here. It all pink with a princess bed and cuddly toys. It would be nice if I was 4 but I'm 16 and pink is not my colour, more black.

I decided to get a shower and changed into something cooler, just a tank top, and shirts will do. Not long after I've dried and put my hair up, there's a knock at the door.

I open it to James standing there. " Come on, let's get some food." I follow him after shutting the door, It seems like we are going a different way than the way we came. At the bottom on the stairs, I can small food, and my stomach grumbles. We walk past the kitchen and into the dining room. There are just 2 places set, so I guess it's just us.

Before I could say anything, two maids come on with food and drinks, and I'm definitely rich people very different from what im used to. I say thank you as they place them in front of me. I am starving, so I dig straight in, and it is so nice.

"Hungry?"

"Starving," I say, laughing.

"Once we finish, I'll give you a tour. My parents will be back tomorrow as they had a work trip, and they will talk to you about rules and school."

" OK, that's fine, but I hope I can get a different room. Pink is really not my colour," I say, scrunching my nose up at pink.

"We can sort that tomorrow as that's the room that was sorted out. Come on, let me show you around."

He takes me around the kitchen living room dining room and a library with office attached, which is all on the ground floor. Outside, there was a massive swimming pool and a patio area with plenty of chairs and a massively lawn. Upstairs were basically two apartments, which are my cousins, games room, and gym. The top floor in my aunt and uncles with also my room lots of spare rooms and another library but smaller more cosy.

James leads me baj to my room and says goodnight. I get in my room and get changed for bed. I get my laptop out and watch some TV. I start getting tired, so I put my laptop away and get comfy. Tomorrow is a new day.
