Too Late?

math

as im walking the halls of garret high i start feeling like my old self again. On my way to lunch im looking for megan she has been on edge lately for some reason, but i end up finding max of course. this first week has been hell trying to avoid him. that kiss was so amazing but almost getting caught was enough to make me realize we are in the wrong, besides he hurt me when he decided to throw me out of his life.

"hey beautiful! ooo look an empty room" max says while pushing me into an empty dark room. i chuckle hugging telling it isnt going to work.

"we cant i need to find justin we are going to his house to study for our math test." hes gripping my ass while kissing my neck i know i want him but push him off.

"dont you remember who taught you math? i think i should go help you and make sure your still as good as i remember" he smiles at me.

im walking out the room as i hear "babe, over here!" i see justin peter and megan waiving me down. "hey max what were you doing in there?" he know i just know he does. Justin seems to be on edge more with max since he saw him parked out my house the other night. max didnt realize that justin was bringing me dinner while my parents were out.

"oh just helping my anni with some math" Max chuckles out while rolling his eyes to me. "so i heard we are studying at your place!?"

Justin looks straight to me i know he is annoyed but honestly i just want to study Mrs. Burns is the hardest teacher i have and i dont plan on losing my A average. We decide to carpool to justins typically Peter will try to get in megans pants but Megan has been distant i wonder if they are hiding something lilke them finally getting together. megan decides to drive in justins car peter with max and of course i choose justin. the car ride was more of a hassle then i though justin is ranting about me inviting max and obviously does not believe that he invited himself. Justin normally would not disagree in front of anyone but megan is my bestfriend and i have told him that she knows everything about me and there is no reason to try and be fake around her.

"Max is very smart when it comes to academics im sure he can teach us some stuff especially to help with this year i heeard he learned all this last year back in his old school" megan says trying to help. after that justin stays quiet and says nothing till we get to his house.

When we get there Max sits right next to me with his hand around me shoulders i feel as if justin is about to explode especially when Max decides to say the most dumbest thing ..

“So anni told me that we are going to have a little get together tomorrow night at her house?” He says. Megan is of course for it not caring that tomorrow is Thursday peter said he couldn’t and Justin just looks confused.

“Would you parents even agree to that, i know that you don’t like to lie to them” just looks at me in a different way.

“They love me Mrs . And Mr. Grace always said that as long as i was there they trusted anni would be in great hands” max smiles with his pearly whites showing while at the same time cutting me off.

My parents were always a sore topic between me and judging just because my dad didn’t understand why i would be with somebody that didn’t agree with the way i was choosing to jump straight into school after i graduated rather then traveling with him. So of course justin got up and walked away after hearing max say that . I elbow max on the side and give him a look.
