Too Late?

   "Babe?" Justin says for what feels like the million time.  I know he just wants to keep me in the conversation, but dinner with his parents wasn't what I expected when he told me we were going to have a blast tonight. They are great, but this is our last weekend before school starts and with everything that's going to be going on, I would prefer to let loose tonight.  "Okay! Well it was a lovely dinner and hope you two enjoy yourselves tonight. See you soon." Mrs. Ryans says quickly. and before I knew it they were going as quickly as they got there. Justin puts his hand on my thigh until i give him a smile he knows me too well and is waiting for me to tell him whats up. He is all around the best guy ever. Perfect athlete, ready for the real world and knows how to take care of any one who needs him. Hes a star at school i mean he is tall, built black hair and gorgeous blue eyes with his almost tan skin. We met when he needed help at the one thing he sucks at which is math. After tutoring ended we made a deal if he passed with an "A" he would get a date. We have been together ever since. He cares for me, people say he may even love me but we were not there yet. Well i was not yeah, i do care for him an incredibly lot for it just being on shy of a year, but we are about to be seniors and leave soon.. This feels right i just wish sometimes he would see we didn't have to be so perfect in front of everyone. I never had an issue with going to Peter's, Justin's best friend. They grew up together Peter was not to bad looking himself, but if you were lucky to get a second date you had to be pretty great. He was a cool dude who was a brother to Justin, we had a love hate kind of relationship. He was throwing a party tonight its like a known fact that when you leave his parties you either are going to get laid/or already did, get blacked out drunk, or fight someone. So it sounded like a great night especially because I was meeting Megan.  Megan was the only girl i was really close with and understood that high school didn't have to be about s*x, and drugs. She knew all about me and how I was saving myself for the right time. It didn't necessarily have to be "Mr. Right" it just needed to be comfortable and felt like the right moment. She was about 5'4 , red hair, and a lot of fun when i needed a buddy but also down to hangout on my bed when i needed a shoulder. I met her a couple months after Max left. Max was i guess you could say the first person i ever loved. He was on a highway down hill but some how it killed me when he left. we kept in touch for it bit but he stopped writing me, and answering my phone calls. Megan was there to pick up the pieces.  "Are you ready for Peter's?" Justin asked knowing i still had to find the right dress. "Yess, gimme about 15 minutes" I said while we both knew i needed about 30 more minutes. Finally deciding on a short, gold, skin tight dress with sleeves to my elbows, and a nice v neckline. Normally i wouldn't dress up as much, but seeing as how i really just wanted to have fun tonight before all of the schools rallys, meetings, practices, games, test, keeping up my A avg. all of it, i felt like i needed tonight.  We were heading out when my phone rang. It was a picture from megan, and when i saw it my heart about dropped.
