Kate’s POV   My phone was buzzing. I tapped the decline button. But it buzzed again. It’s my Mom. I kept declining it. And she called over and over again. Jesus! What the hell would be desperately urgent?   “Mom! I’m in a meeting! Can we talk later?!” “Hmmmmm!” I heard some struggling voices coming from the phone. It worried me.
