“No, please. Please…No…No…My mother is waiting for me. She is already old. Please. I’m begging you. I won’t say a word about this to anyone. I’ll live like the dead. I will never show myself in front of you. Have mercy on me, just this time. Please.”
It was the chef. One of the oldest employees inside the mansion.
Calvin felt no reason to spare the old man. Not because he finally turned into a heartless man, but due to the fact that this person is lying until the end.
He can still remember how he used his mother's funeral six months ago to ask for a vacation. He remembered how he expressed his condolences in the form of cash.
And yet, this man is using the same person to be saved from his current predicament. These
