Chapter 29 – Left Alone * * * The cheers and all the noise vanished like they never existed from the start. Sean and the rest of the group escaped before I gained consciousness. I was left with Calvin, who was still inside me, on top of the bed. He is snoring like a dork while lying helplessly on top of my body. Tears and relief silently engulfed my human form.
