I woke up slightly more refreshed from sleep, since James had given me something to help. I showered, since I would see Val even for a moment, and I wanted to be presentable. I kept hearing something in my head about wolfsbane. I don't know why, but it was nagging me. I had talked to James yesterday about having an antidote for it, but I would make sure it was ready out on the field.
I walked down to the kitchen, which was bare other than Damien and Dy, since we had sent everyone else away. We tried sending Dy away but she refused. We sat and ate in silence, as my father and Drake entered the kitchen. I stood up and said "You were supposed to go with the women and children".
