The informant who Lucas had sent to inquire more about Mariá came to see him in his crib and gave him so much information regarding what he sent; "So what do you have for me Marco", Luca inquired. "Boss from what I gathered Mariá has been living with Paolo from birth she was given as a collateral to Paolo by her father name one Antonio. What!! Yeah I learnt her father was a reckless gambler, he had put a bet on his daughter that if he fails to win the game he would give Paolo his daughter as a collateral forever , her father knew how important Paolo doesn't joke with female kids , Paolo liked the deal so much, Antonio went ahead to play the casino game unfortunately for him he eventually lost the game to Paolo, that was how Mariá grew without a parent I learnt that she doesn't even have an idea whom her parent are, she has been going through a tough life and tortured life all are entire existence, it wasn't easy living with Paolo either, has I was told she's has been sexually and physically abused both from Paolo, his customers and even his men . That's all I could gather boss, " Grazie Millie " Marco. That night Luca's was restless about the whole information he had about Mariá, Luca knows the bad dealing Paolo does but what surprises him his how Paolo would pick a child from birth as his slave and even introduce the child to prostitution at such age, normally this girls where meant to be grown girls aged 20 upwards and not from birth. Luca's soliloquizing; this explains why she has been having clouded emotions and acting all strange. Lucas couldn't sleep, it was 2:00am in the morning he was so bothered about Mariá and couldn't even find some sleep so he went downstairs to get some "vino" in the living room , just when he had gotten his wine glass filled with some red wine he heard a scream and it seemed it was coming from the kitchen area , he had to immediately go check what was that , has he stepped into the kitchen he found Mariá at one corner shivering and fidgeting like she's scared of something, it happened that she had that tantrum again flashes of her past . He immediately picked her up and carried her in his arms and took her to his room and laid her on his bed. It's okay, I'm here now, he calmly puts her to sleep and watch her sleep through out the night. It was 5:45am in the morning and Luca's had still not gotten any sleep , and it was almost time for Miss A to bring his coffee by 6:00am . Miss A knocked as usual and he came to the door to get the coffee because he didn't want her to see Mariá in his room . What's wrong son and why are your eyes like this, it looks like you haven't gotten any sleep your eyes are swelling " Miss A inquired". I'm fine mom I have been busy but I will get some sleep now . You should please do , oops that was close "Lucas soliloquized". He locked his room and went back to bed to get to some sleep. Mariá had still not waken up not until it was 7 :00am and when she had finally waken up , she realized she wasn't on her bed and she was sleeping beside her boss she quickly tip toed and walk out , on her way to get change, she met Miss A. Where have you been since morning "Miss A questioned". Mariá fidgeting to respond "Mi dispiace " ma . A voice in the background responded she was with me I wanted her to do some stuff for me mom ; that was Luca's speaking . You can go ,Miss A told Mariá ,thank you ma" Mariá responded ". Luca had some wine testing in his wine factory today, Lucas company produces the best wine so far in Italy and all over the world and there are very expensive as well; I mean high value for your money , thats the statement Luca's makes when his been asked why he sells his wine at such an expensive rate.

When Luca had got back, lunch was set for him Miss A sent Mariá to go inquire from him if he would like to have lunch immediately, Mariá had proceeded to go get feedback from her boss as she walked upstairs to his room, Luca's gets a knock on the door; with a voice as that of a lion come in. Mariá walked in, Luca's was looking at a file when she walked in immediately Lucas had noticed it was her he pushed the file to one side of the bed and listened to what she has to say , good afternoon Sir Miss A asked if you are ready to eat your lunch now Lucas looking straight into her eyes responds how about I take you out for lunch instead. Mariá became dumbfounded , " Sono Perduto" sir . Lucas smiled as he responded" Ho Sete" Mariá replied " Vino or acqua ". How come I didn't notice you were this pretty "Luca's complemented, Mariá got shy and immediately run off from the room panting really hard, on her way to the kitchen she met Miss A , what did the boss say "Miss A questioned "Mariá staggering and acting all foolish , Ma he said he doesn't want his lunch yet, what's wrong with you ; you're acting like you have seen a ghost get hold of yourself, are you sure you are okay "Si ma" I'm good ma "Mariá responded" . Later at night around 2: 00 am in the morning still very dark and cold Luca went to the living room to get some wine because he couldn't get so some sleep, he does this often when he can't sleep or his having some troubles . When he got to the living room where his wine is located, he poured some wine in the wine glass but then again he noticed that the house was not entirely quiet he could feel some noise coming from the kitchen area, he wasn't so sure so he decided to confirm, on getting there he noticed Mariá was in the there , she was sipping coffee. Asides from being pretty I didn't know you are also the lady in the night , Mariá staggered and got frightened by the voice which came from her back, she almost fell off from the chair she sat on and immediately Luca's got hold of her. They both looked into each other's eyes but then Luca's left her hands and she did same too. Why do you get scared when I'm talking to you I don't bite ; I'm not scared it's just the things you say makes me really uncomfortable " Mariá responded". Oh I didn't know but I'm being honest, you're beautiful take it from me . You see you're still saying that again , it's so unusual to get attracted by my beauty it's not your thing, this coming from you makes me feel swayed and it's really awkward. Luca's giggled and responded you shouldn't be, as he Luca's picked her hands and perked the back of her palms and said "you need to get some rest it's late " then he walked away. Mariá on her bed was blushing and just reminiscing on the little moment she had with her boss and just couldn't forget how much he complemented her beauty , she was flabbergasted while her boss Luca's on the other hand on his bed thinking of the beautiful Mariá. Mariá had caught his attention deeper than he had thought.
