Roe's P.O.V.
"Basically, he needs you to keep him on a leash." Jace grinned widely at an increasingly grumpy looking Damien. It was hard not to laugh at the disgruntled look on his face though. We were sitting in his office as they filled me in on the importance of this Alpha meeting.
"If having Alphas together is such a dangerous thing, why not just hold the meeting online?" I asked. But I quickly felt foolish at the look from Warren. Of course, anything online could be hacked and their secret would be out. "Never mind." I mumbled, shrinking back into Damien's warm arms as I sat on his lap. His arms tightened around me reassuringly.
"I don't want you to be scared of me, Roe. But I don't have the best control at these events..." Damien started.
