CHAPTER 11
MAE“Is Damon here?” I asked Samuel when he answered the pack house door.
All morning, I’d debated on whether or not to visit Damon today, but when Luca and Aaisha both left the house, I’d decided to just come here because I didn’t want to be alone.
And I might’ve wanted to see him.
Samuel nodded down the hall toward Damon’s office, and I hurried in that direction. Since I’d met Alexandra, Damon’s mate, I had wanted to both spend every waking second with Damon and to leave him alone so he could be with her. I didn’t want the drama, but something kept drawing me to him.
As I was about to open the door, I heard her voice inside.
“Let’s talk about it during a run together. I know running helps to clear your mind.”
“Alexandra.” Damon sighed.
I could hear the pain in his voice
