I pretended to be asleep when he finally came to bed, didn’t move a muscle as I felt the air move as he got undressed in the dark.
He was quiet , and if I had been asleep I doubt he would have woken me. But I wasn’t asleep. I didn’t really do much of that anymore either.
Better he thought I was fast asleep then both of us laying in silence not knowing what to say to each other.
