It usually felt so weird to be on another pack's territory but I felt at home here. As I opened the door to Corra’s bedroom I realized this was where she really called home. Her photos were all over the walls, a whole wall dedicated to her books, little nick nacks everywhere. This room truly felt like a place she lived unlike her room back home. Back there her room barely smelled like her. She had all her track trophies and awards on her dresser.
I placed her down on the bed and she winced at the pain. I pulled her shirt up to see her whole stomach darkly bruised, a low growl escaping. “It’s ok I’m fine, it’s already much better.” Her hand gently brushing over my cheek.
“It’s not fine he was practically dancing on you.” She cringed realizing I saw more than she thought. “I was just so entertained watching you fight. I didn't see him coming up on you till it was too late. I started ripping through everyone in my way to get to you but they were all surrounding you.”
“I’m glad you were there.”
“I could have been there the entire time, but someone had to keep secrets.” She rolled her eyes, sighed, and bit her lip. I love when she does that, every time she’s annoyed or irritated, it turns me on and I can't resist. I leaned down and kissed her, her soft lips still hesitant kissing back. I climbed on top of her tangling one hand in her silky hair, and running the other down her arm, tightly holding her hand down. She’s mine. I don’t want anyone else getting the same butterflies I get when she smiles or says my name. I don’t want anyone else making her blush or calling her “baby.” call me selfish. I don’t care. She’s mine. “I don’t think” I kiss her again “you understand, exactly, how much I’ve craved your lips.” She wasn’t pulling away from me like last time,in fact she was pushing herself into me, grinding against my née. my hand slowly pulled away from her hair, finding its way down to her breast. As I grasped her, a moan escaped her mouth into mine sending shivers down my spine, and not the good kind.
it irritates me but i pull away out of breath. I sat on my knees, with her between my legs, struggling to keep my wolf at bay. “f**k” i look into her deep green eyes, full of l**t, and back down at her bruised and cut up body. A low growl escaped “I really should have made their deaths more painful.” I leaned down and kissed the bruise on her stomach, her body shivered in pleasure. “Where’s the shower, I need to cool off?” She pointed me to a door by her bedside table.
The cool water felt so good running down my back, as soon as I finished my quick shower and brushed my teeth, I tugged on the shorts Elijah had lended me and hastened back into the room. The slight tension that had gripped my muscles eased. Corra hadn’t moved an inch from where I’d left her. Curled under the covers, she was soundly sleeping. I wouldn’t have to worry about trying to get her to go to sleep. I had noticed the past couple of weeks she hardly slept. It was beginning to worry me. I fell asleep holding her in my arms, her body wrapping itself around me. Her steady heartbeat and breath, lulling me. There was no way in hell I would ever sleep without her next to me ever again. It was the most peaceful I had felt in ages.
I could hear her struggling breath. I threw the covers off as she gasped for air, jolting upright as instinctive fear shredded my sleepy confusion. The world froze for a second and I realized she was having a bad dream. I lifted her into my lap as gently as I could, her head on my shoulder, and my arms were wrapped around her, holding her as close as I could. “Hay baby girl, it’s ok, it’s just a bad dream.” My body leaning against the headboard, her body began to relax, as I pet her hair.

when i woke up again she was gone, but the smell of bacon filled the house. I walked down the hall retracing my steps from last night, I heard lots of conversations and laughter coming from down stairs. Her family room was filled with people, as well as the kitchen. All the windows and doors were open, people and wolves were everywhere I looked. “Morning.” She said in a sweet cheerful voice. I look over the kitchen counter to see her cooking, a bright smile on her face. Now that is one thing i never thought i would see. I know she just doesn’t seem the type. But it smells so good right. Oh ya.
“It smells amazing baby.” I walk up behind her, hugging her and kiss her on the back of her head. She must have just showered because she smiled like soap instead of how she normally does. I watched as she started another pan of bacon. “Is something going on.” I looked out at the crowd, most of the eyes around talking peaked at me here and there.
“No, some people just like to be like a family.”
“Ya know big bro they tell me it’s like this everyday it's a lot better than a cold dark main house like ours.” I looked up at Mic who was sitting in the rednecks lap, as soon as we made eye contact both of us were growling at each other. The room went quiet. A quick jab to my gut from my Mate made the room erupt in laughter.
“Jackson, meet my beta Elijah.” She's smirked at me “and the girl over there half way down Grady’s throat is Ally, my third.” The girl pulled away from Grady and threw an apple at us, but Corra fought it.
“Oh hahaha you have no place to talk, I have plenty of stories I could tell right here in front of everyone.” All three of us were now growling at each other.
“Oh big brother you have no place to do that either.”
“How bout we put it this way none of us do.” Grady said breaking out in laughter.
“Oh but that’s not true.” Both Ally and Corra said with a devilish smirk looking at Elijah “we have our resident virgin, who said no to every girl around.” My guess was that it was a standing joke because the entire pack was either laughing at him or glaring( mostly girls). At least he had one thing going for him.
“And it was totally worth it too.” He said beet red “because i have the perfect mate.” Me and Grady were now the ones cracking up.
“Far from it my friend” Grady and I said, barely able to breathe.
“I have no idea what you're talking about.” My sister said in a joking tone. I really missed this kind of atmosphere, ever since i started to take over the pack from my dad i had this kind of fun.
Corra whispering to me“tank should have made it back by now right?”
“Ya I’ll give him a call soon, I want to give him a chance to talk with Dazzy. She was really pissedwhen he left with us.
