CHAPTER 04

"Masyadong mahina. Lagyan mo pa ng pwersa ang pagsuntok mo Feliz!

"At ikaw naman Sam, wag mong masyadong pwersahin ang bawat hampas mo ng espada mo!"

"Phoenix control your blue flames! Imagine it consuming just the blade of your katana!"

"Daniel careful with your water! May mga iba pang nagtra-training dito hindi lang ikaw! And use your damn trident to control it!"

"Aizen.. the hell where the f**k is Aizen Hazen The Third?!"

Damn.. I hate it when Stanley is being a nagger. Kanina niya pa sine-sermunan ang mga bwiset na elites na yan. It's been what two days since that shitty day where I finally got Slyfer, my scythe weapon.

Una ayaw pa ni Stanley na ibigay saakin si Slyfer not just because the weapon is a forbidden one. But First is because it feeds on the weilder's blood, my blood alone. Second is because it is once a weapon of a demon, dunno what kind of demon but I bet it's powerful.

It is said that the first owner of this weapon made a pact with a dragon or something to make Slyfer a weapon for killing demons. I don't actually know the full story because I f*****g hate history to it's finest.

Slyfer hates history as well but he keeps on blabbing shits inside my head since that day. Like he badly needs to avenge his late master's death and so on and so forth.

He even described to me the damn demon. Tsk

Dalawang araw nadin akong hindi nakakapunta sa kagubatan. If only I could use teleport, ginawa ko na pero Stanley made sure that I will not be able to leave the campus by putting anti- teleportation barriers around the university.

Damn! Now I can't check personally what the hell is going on inside the forest.

"Astrid Xenia! Practice your element now! I haven't seen what you are capable of since the first day I met you!" - Stanley nagged again. Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay kasabay ng pag pagsaludo ng gitnang daliri ko sakanya which made him frown.

Duh? I will not let him see what I am capable of. Saka na, pag huling araw na. Nakakatamad naman kasi tong training na ginagawa niya na para 'saamin' daw.

Umupo ako sa lupa at nilapag ko muna si Slyfer sa tabi ko.

"Magis" - I whispered at lumitaw ang isang magic pad sa harapan ko. Magic pad is a lot different from a magic circle pero halos parehas lang naman sila ng gamit. In a magic pad you need to write the spells in an old fashioned way, samantalang sa magic circle ay kahit galing lang sa bibig mo ay okay na.

Bihira nalang gamitin ang magic pad ngayon dahil bihira nalang din ang may alam ng sinaunang lengguahe ng mahika. It was firstly invented by the Alchemist pero nakalimutan din ng mga tao, hanggang sa mayroon nanaman nakadiskubre na umuubra nga ito.

Army of warriors that will help her to achieve her dreams" - sa bawat bigkas ko ng mga salita, ay ang kusang pag-galaw ng aking mga kamay upang magsulat sa pad. Gamit ko ang sinaunang lengguahe at ng matapos na akong masulat ay lumitaw sa aking harapan ang replika ng buong kagubatan.

Alas Quatro na, malapit ng lumubog ang araw at dahil dalawang araw na akong hindi nakakapunta sa kagubatan ay kailangan kong makita ang lagay nito kahit sa pamamagitan ng mahika lamang.

Ramdam ko din kasi na unting-unti ng humihina ang barrier na ginawa ko dahil unang una malayo ako, pangalawa malakakas ang mga demonyo. Ilang beses nilang ginamit ang itim na mahika noong nakaraang araw upang subukang sirain ang barrier at kapag tumagal pa iyon ng tatlong araw ay siguradong masisira na ang ginawa ko.

It could be hell for the remaining weilders there. Alam kong gustong gusto ng mga demonyo na makapaghiganti dahil kinulong ko sila sa kalahating parte ng gubat. Hahanapin nila agad ang mga tao sa kagubatan upang kainin.

"What are you doing?"

"Ay palakang adobo!" - dahil sa gulat ay  nawala ang focus ko at agad na naglaho ang imahe na ginawa ko. I glared at the person who is the reason why I lost my damn focus.

"I am busy doing my thing so stay away before I slit your throat"

"Woah! Easy there princess! I mean no f*****g harm. I am just asking what you are doing because Stanley wanted us to spar" - he said and his hands are raised in the air. He's really an asshole. He keeps on pestering me since that day when we started our training. Nakakairita siya! Tinalo niya pa ang babae.

"Tsk just f**k off and tell Stanley I don't want to spar with an asshole like you" - malamig na saad ko at nakita ko ang paglagay niya ng kanyang kanang kamay sa kanyang dibdib at umakto pa itong nasasaktan.

"You're too harsh, princess. Nevertheless , I still like you" - he said and in a blink of an eye nandoon na siya kay Stanley at kinakausap niya na ito.

I was about to walk away from the crowd where almost all of them are already sparring when I suddenly caught a familiar presence.

Agad kong hinanap ang presensya and when I did ay agad akong tumingin sa itaas ng pinakamalapit na building dito sa field. And there he is. Hindi ko sigurado kung tinitingnan niya din ako but honestly I can feel his stares.

I shrug my shoulders and I resumed walking away from the place, once again concealing my presence and my whole existence that even that man standing in that building will fail looking for me.

"I know that you have the f*****g experience in the forest but can you at least cooperate?! Maybe you will not die in that forest but I am sure that you will die here inside this univeristy!" - Stanley angrily exclaimed as he slammed his hands on his table which made me mentally roll my eyes

It's just 3 a.m pero pinatawag ako nitong si Stanley dahil sa ikatlong pagkakataon ay sinubukan kong nakalabas ng eskwelahan gamit ang teleportation. Papano niya nalaman? It's because the anti-teleportation barrier made by that Mercedes professor can send signals to all of the higher ups.

Tsk I am just testing my damn luck a while ago.

"How can I die if I am invisible? Their senses are useless Stanley you know that. You can feel my presence and see me right now because I am allowing you to do so" - malamig kong tugon sakanya. My senses are sharpened in the forest at ganon na din ang mga kakayahan ko at malabong mangyari ang sinasabi niya. Not unless they will be collaborating with the demons of course. At hindi din malabong mangyari ang sinasabi kong makipag tulungan ang isang makapangyarihang opisyal sa isang demonyo dahil sa kapangyarihan.

"f**k! Hindi mo man lang ba naisip na damay damay kayo dito?! Pag napuno ang council sa'yo tiyak na gagawin nila ang lahat para ikaw na mismo ang magsabi na parusahan ka nila. You still don't know them Astrid Xenia" - he stated which made me let out an evil grin.

Oh he is so dead wrong I know them pretty well. Matagal tagal ko nadin silang pinapanood at kilalang-kilala ko na sila. Mas kilala ko pa sila kaysa sa pagkakakilala niya.

"Then they should begin to hunt me. Tell them that the chase will start right after this useless training." - Tanging saad ko nalang at kitang-kita ko kung paano umawang ang bibig niya. God! Ilang beses ko na ba siyang napanga-nga dahil sa mga pinagsasabi ko? Oh well! Dapat masanay na siya

Tumayo na ako sa kinauupuan ko at naglakad na ako papunta sa pinto. I grabbed the doorknob at dahan dahan ko itong pinihit pabukas. And before I could even step outside his office ay muli akong humarap sakanya wearing my famous evil grin

"And remember Stanley, I am f*****g merciless" - and with that lumabas na ako ng tuluyan at tska ko sinara ang pinto leaving him astounded.

I was about to take a step forward when I saw a familiar figure leaning on the wall near Stanley's office.

I licked my lips as I saw how his messed up hair matched his facial features. I admit he is really handsome. Siguro maraming naghahabol sa isang to? Well, it is only natural because firstly he is an elite element weilder second hengot the looks any woman would die for at nakadagdag pa ng effect yung pagkasuplado niya.

Many girls nowadays like that kind of guy, hindi ko lang alam kung bakit.

If only we met on a different era, I too might have a crush on him. But this era is different. War is my priority not lovelife.

"Trouble again, Amarè?" - he asked and that made me came back from my senses

Tsk I guess trouble is indeed my middle name and hell is my surname

I just shrug my shoulders and I finally took a step forward and I walk pass him. Ayoko ng makipag-usap sakanya, I still have a lot of important things to do.

"Don't do anything reckless again Astrid Xenia. They are watching" - he said and that made my grin grow even wider. They are watching? Wow! I am an artist of some sort? Is that something I should be proud of? Nah! I don't think so.

"Then let them see what I can really do to this f*****g unversity" - I replied and in just one snap of my fingers ay nasa loob na ako ng akong dormitoryo. If they are watching then maybe I should level up my hiding. Masyado ko na silang pinag-bibigyan na makita ang bawat galaw ko. Dahil sa totoo lang kayang kaya kong kontrahin ang mahika na ginagamit nila sa buong universidad pero dahil mabait ako wag nalang. Baka mafrustrate sila eh nakakahiya naman

I sat on my bed and I close my eyes. This is the third time I am able to sleep in a comfy bed without worrying about the demons that could get me while I am asleep. Pero kahit ganoon hindi naman ako kampante, nagkalat din kasi ang traydor sa paligid. We'll never know who's the real ally here.

The only thing I could trust right now is my senses. And right now I need to rest, panibagong araw nanaman maya-maya. And the subject? What I hated the most— history

"Good day students! This is your 3rd day here in the university how was it?" - nakangiting tanong sa buong klase ni Mercedes, isa sa mga alipores ni Stanley na tumulong sakanya upang gumawa ng anti-teleportation barrier.

"Ms Astrid any thoughts?"

Fuck bakit ako? Andami-daming pwedeng tawagin sa klase na ito ako pa talaga?

"Come on Astrid, just one word so that we can move on to our topic for today." - malapad padin niyang ngiti at kapansin pansin ang pagtingin or rather pagtitig saakin ng mga kaklase ko sa asignaturang ito.

Pinatong ko ang aking ulo sa aking kamay na nakapatong din sa lamesa. Binigyan ko siya, or rather sila ng isang bored na tingin dahil boring naman talaga ang parte ng training na ito.

"Useless"- I said at narinig ko ang pasighap ng mga kaklase kuno ko.

"Ang yabang"

"Nakakatakot siya"

"Kakampi ba talaga natin siya?"

"Maybe she's a damn spy!"

I rolled my eyes in annoyance. Useless naman talaga

However, knowledge comes with great power. My point is that sana lang ay marunong ang babaeng ito magturo para naman hindi ako mabored at isiping sirain ang leksyon niya.

And these elites and non elites are annoying as f**k. Natural kung kalaban ako edi sana kanina pa ako nag summon ng mga demonyo dito dahil alam ko na ang pasikot sikot ng universidad. But f**k I didn't right? And I already said it three days ago that I am an ally. Masyado silang pabibo.

"Ah-eh anyways. *ehem* let's start with our topic for today" - Mercedes said and she just gave her a knowing grin. Now let's see how you teach history.
